I've been in home hospice since mid-May. 99% of the time I'm in (or just outside) the house. I've wanted to take this picture for a long time. Yesterday was the day! Seeing the breeze from the open window move the curtains, and the play of light and shadow on the curtains as the sun goes behind clouds and then re-emerges, gives me unreasonable bliss. This photo was going to be about the Light and Spirit that's behind, and moving, all things. But it had a mind of its own and turned into a playful high-tone romp in the digital paintbox. :-)

I realised that I rarely show houses (apart from the wooden red huts) but there are different ones and quite beautiful too.

This is Henningsvær where (according to Wikipedia) 510 people are living. (Well, were living in January 2018.)

I really like this place. It has a nice lighthouse, a harbour, loads of drying racks, street art and beautiful scenery. Oh, and a really nice café :o)

BTW: I decided against posting in chronological order.

I have a reputation for loosing my gloves and hats (and sometimes umbrellas, too, if I ever use one) at a regular basis ... usually on the streetcar / tram, on the mountains or somewhere else out and about taking photos

... I don't mind wearing odd / different gloves (and socks) though, so I don't throw away the single ones ; ))

And there are actually columns dedicated to all the lonely gloves out there on "out of frame" (a student-edited platform for all things untold, unseen and forgotten, so they say):

Dried fish is a common sight in Lofoten.

But only when the fish decided to come and visit. Each year it's a bit different. By now the drying racks will be full.

A snow storm or a pandemic

Who knows

This is common sight at Shangri-La countryside .The drying racks are used for drying barley & hay / grass. Is about 20ft high.............can you imagine the size ???

These beautiful dog roses have already made a brief appearance in another shot recently, but they were too good not to take centre stage.

Well, it's mostly covered in snow and the view is blocked by drying racks and the camper can (all typical sights for Norway) but if you should look up "Henningsvær football field" you might recognise this place.

The lighthouse in the background is a nice bonus for me :o)
