It's a little puckered - should I keep it up anyway? i still think it'll look awesome, so long as you don't want a *perfect* pillow...
I have been wanting to do a circle quilt, but I don't want to applique, and I don't want to fuse. Drunkard's Path seemed to be a good logical solution. It's going to be bright and maybe a little garish, but it is making me happy :-)
Finished the baby quilt for my old roommate. I was aiming for an abstract representation of the ocean. Blogged: greencheesequilting.blogspot.com/2014/10/seaside-baby-qui...
Hope you like it, partner. The mister wants me to keep it - but I think it'll have a fun time in its new home.

It's the same few colors, just distributed in such a way to emphasize their differences. I have one more to sew and then this column's complete.
Quilt squares I sewed up quickly for a class I'm teaching tomorrow on curved seams in quilting. This block is called drunkard's path and they can be assembled many ways for some really interesting results.
Curved seams are surprisingly easy. I'd been avoiding them for years, even though I heard they were easy. I am shocked and pleased. I can't wait to show someone else how easy these are. 2 hour class? Hopefully assembly will take half that and we can concentrate on design and colors/patterns :)
Perhaps I'm being overly optimistic...

Thanks so much Kate and Kristie for hosting! :)
These are my very first attempt at any kind of quilty curves and they actually weren't that hard! Takes time and focus, but I'm really proud with how they came out, which is why I ended up making 4 of them!
These are my D blocks for the BAMQG A-Z block-a-long.

This was going to be 4 eyeglass cases. It might just turn into a little wall hanging though. It seems to have a mind of its own.
