10/2022 - Rollinsville, CO
As I was coming down off the abandoned grade, I spotted a BNSF freight that just came out of Moffat Tunnel. They stopped at Rollinsville so getting a couple shots wasn't hard.
Wall Breachers run into walls then self destruct, destroying the wall with them (hopefully), hence the dynamite strapped to his back. Okay, I'm off to the next one! Enjoy! :D
The drone featured in this vignette.
It contains the secret ingredient for the Builders Lounge Iron Builder competition. My way of putting some pressure on Karf and Sly ;-)

The workers had made little progress as of mid December, but in later photos you'll see the crane succumbed to the torch.
The drones all slave away,
they're working overtime.
They serve a faceless queen,
they never question why.

My friend Catie and I tried something new last night - "painting" the sky with our drones. Pretty fun stuff!
Don't know whether this fits to a drone specification, but I have fun building and taking this shot :)

Known for its speed and accuracy, "Caeli" patrols the urban areas and the drone factories to assure the population's "peace" and the safety of the production of drones. Its speed is unmatched by any other land drone in the JACB army.
This build was heavily inspired by Magic Tuba Pixie and Spook. When I saw the alien piece I just had the sudden urge to put arms and legs on it in pixie's type of style. Then from Spook's Sentry came the inspiration to make this a deadly bipedal drone on wheels.
V2 of my Mule has been posted BTW and I would love your guys opinion on that.
And what do you think of the different background?
C&C Welcome
Enjoy!
12/2021 - Huntington, WV
A final few aerial shots from the CSX shop before moving back to Raceland. Lots of 70MACs here. I hope some get put back into service.
6D50 Hull Dairycoates - Rylstone passes Neville Hill, a fair amount of traction on show, notably 91119 in Swallow livery. Not exactly the shot I wanted by it was quite windy, the drone wouldn't make progress further west.
The drone spooked some American Coots as it flew over and then found someone who was hoping they would come a little closer.
This is a picture of a Drone Fly on the South Tract of the Patuxent Research Refuge near Laurel, Maryland.

Something something drone thing I made. This is the last of the things I've been working on since I was home last. Probably won't be posting new things for a while after this. Colleeegeeeeee~~
Wilhelm was boring so he built this nazi drone...
Yes, I'm not dead. :p
I've painted the camo of my KSK figure to 90%, but still have to order some tt... :3
So it will need some more time maybe I will finish it in July.
I almost missed. In fact I did miss a number of times. :-)
The drone is flown via a cellphone app. Pretty poor quality images (640x480) but who cares, it's the thought that counts!

There are several very similar species of Eristalis drone flies and one of the best ways of telling them apart is by their faces, hence you need a head-on shot. There is a shiny stripe down the front of the face and this varies with species. This very thin stripe indicated that this is E. pertinax - one of the larger and commoner species.
