Petite après midi de prise en main d'un drone au dessus de Tournon-sur-Rhône, dans un chouette temps hivernal et à la lumière douce =)

Small afternoon of handling a drone above Tournon-sur-Rhône, in a cool winter weather and in soft light =)
I spent some time on my stomach in the garden, watching and photographing pollinators on threadleaf coreopsis. As usual, the drone flies were most cooperative.
Been playing some Blacklight Retribution and took this down with me to college. It has no weapons, because it tells other drones what to do and stuff. Also I embellished it with some scala oven racks, Japanese stickers and face bricks cuz why not.
The meatbag is there for the purpose of making Xavier sad that he doesn't have the Spooky Girl collectifig, pls ignore.

A first for me. This was a somewhat tiny machine ... looking more like a UFO ... buzzing its way in all directions, at the whim of its controller.
Quite a lot of fun actually. I was taking photos of 'it' while 'it' (I think) was taking photos of me.
Kindly click on image for a more defined effect. Thanks.

Here is a gem of a long shot taken from the air of the old grain elevator and bins just outside of Staley, Washington on 07-12-2021.1458
The drone market has recently seen an influx of competing infantry designs, owing largely to increased hostilities across the yellow zone. The Knight frame was hastily ordered by militaries eager to put its durability and rugged design to the test.
Early reports indicate favourable results, though as with most drones in service, Soft AI errors are still cause for concern, particularly following several friendly-fire incidents with the previous model.
At 3.9 metres, it casts an intimidating silhouette across any theatre. Primary armament is interchangeable, pictured is a shoulder mounted mag-accelerator. The Knight's manipulators are capable of picking up and firing standard human armaments, meaning that it can adapt and repurpose weapons from the battlefield.

Dane's recent drone gave me the impetus for this, it came together really quickly and I'm pretty happy with the proportions.
Thanks for stopping by, hope you enjoy this one. As usual feel free to ask any questions, comment, critique, etc. Thanks so much!

Pardon me while I spam your Flickr feed with shots of the derelict electrics and diesel etc near Albany. I had been wanting to get out of town and this was my first road trip since vacation. The property was an active construction zone so walking in was out of the question. At the south end is NYC 6000/100 an S1 class ALCO/GE electric built in 1904, generally called the first main line electric locomotive.
A CN manifest has made its way up Steelton Hill onto the Missabe Sub for the run to the border. Last shot of the day as the sun is dipping below the treeline and it was time to get home.
Hundreds gathered at Marina Bay waterfront in Singapore to witness "The Legend of the Dragon Gate" drone show celebrating the Year of the Dragon. The mesmerizing spectacle featured 1,500 drones illuminating the night sky above Marina Bay Sands. The drones, moving in perfect harmony, depicted the mythical journey of the Dragon King from Chinese mythology, creating an engaging and visually stunning narrative for the audience.

I am just beginning to explore the potential of using a drone on my photographic journey. This was shot today with a DJI Spark.

Been in a bit of a building rut lately, and sometimes just need a little inspiration and bit of pressure (before pew'n) to get a build out.
G-drones were used by evil Gorm for searching, recording and collecting information. They fly really fast. When they are done G-drones come back to base, translate the info and also get some charge at docking station.
