London Taxi Drivers protest outside The Evening Standard newspaper awards night in Wapping that were sponsored by Uber.
The cabbies were highlighting the rise in rapes & sexual assaults committed in by ber drivers, PHVs & minicab drivers.
Current police figures are there are 25 REPORTED sexual assaults a week in London, committed by Uber/Minicab/PHV drivers.
Light rain and lots of spray, very bad conditions. The daylight almost disappeared. Wonder how the drivers were able to keep on track.

Canterbury Driver Training Ltd is approved by NZTA to conduct Class 4 driver licence courses (4).
Our courses take 1 to 2 ½ days depending on numbers and include both the class 4 theory and a practical drive assessment. If the trainee does not hold the Logbook unit standard 24089 (completed as part of a class 2 licence course, in the last 12 months), they will also do this theory unit as well.
A pre-requisite is that the trainee must hold a full current NZ drivers licence with a Class 4 learner licence (4L), to obtain this they must have held a full current class 2 licence for a minimum of 6 months if under 25, or 3 months if over 25.

I was here on Flickr when I heard a horrendous crash. it appears that a driver, who may have been drunk, had hit my car, bounced into the blue car, which hit the red car, which catapaulted through a neighbour's front garden wall. In between those two cars was a lovely old man who's well known here for always walking his greyhounds. So, now I'm going to have to track down insurance details and try and get my car repaired....just as I was trying to sell it :(

There isn't really much to say, except that I turned hungry as soon as I arrived and had to work with flashlight in basically absolute darkness the rest of the furmeet, which, also, was a certain kind of practice for me.

The new taylormade r11s driver features a clubhead shape that is intended to suit the eye of better players, while still providing forgiveness and confidence for average players. TaylorMade says the head boasts a contemporary, slightly more triangular appearance than traditionally shaped drivers.
We met up with our English-speaking driver at 8.30am (after breakfast at Kuta Beach Club) at our hotel lobby. I have booked for his services via email before reaching Bali and he charged Rp 400,000 per day (around 10 hours) which includes 7 passenger vehicle with air-con, driver, gasoline and parking fees. After engaging 2 full days of his services (visiting around Bali), I found him to be honest, polite, safe (driving), punctual and willing to accommodate (change of plans, itinerary taking more the 10 hours, etc). Highly recommended! I forgot to take a photo with Ketut but I will definitely use his services again when I travel to Bali the next round! His contact details are below:

Oh Sunday night Sept. 7th I got a call about a really bad accident on Gus Nicks Blvd in NE Roanoke, VA;. Of course I grabbed my camera and was out the door. Worst mistake.
Drunk Driver in Voyager Minivan hit 2 station wagons, one head on, killing one and injuring himself. The driver of the worst hit station wagon running from the scene. Dead body lay in road for over 2 hours...family got there. Terrible accident. My photo's used by local television station.
