Bill and refreshments at end of early shift

welcome for new blood of HKT, it's a long time haven't seen female drivers apart from those senior ones who have been serving for over 15 years.

I'm a fan of ratcheting drivers, and I have two. This one is nice because it comes with a large assortment of bits, which are kept in rubber sleeves that stow in the handle. There are actually six available bit sleeves, each with different bits: hex (Allen wrench heads), standard, sockets (with 1/4 inch adapter), and tamper-resistant Torx.

This set is worth getting just for the bits, really. Assembling furniture sets is way easier with this driver than with the enclosed Allen wrench, for instance, and in my line of work, tamper-resistant Torx screws turn up once in a while.

This was my driver for the day... he was awesome and didn't really speak any English.

Panasonic Jaguar Racing drivers Nelson Piquet Jr. and Mitch Evans today completed three days of crucial pre-season testing at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, Spain. The British team focused on performance and reliability ahead of their second season in the series.

I can't say she looks *comfortable* behind the wheel, but she's got 8 years to figure that out. (August 2009)

I've already featured the 'neighbours from hell' at number 11 of this street for their crap driving & lawless, selfish antics. The decent person opposite has visitors (the MX5, parked OK), but the silly spoilt cow from 11 with the Suzuki still insists on using 9's pavement to park on. I doubt there's enough room for a FIRE ENGINE or ambulance to pass, especially as this is an UNTREATED ICY road! In the US fire trucks are fitted with bull-bars although driving/parking this badly is almost unknown in US. In broken Britain the establishment believe it's better someone's home burns down. or they die, rather than some crap driver suffers their car getting rammed by emergency vehicles. The 3rd car on the footway is the grandparents' Land Cruiser visiting 11 (but parked outside15). Today's young yob's are 3rd generation louts & crap driving & selfish mentalities are obviously inherited. Don't know what Con-Dem's will do, but Gordon Brown's lot only revoked licences on age grounds (i.e. too old to argue), young folk who use vehicles to make a nuisance NEVER get licences revoked, as DVLA & cop's feel it's too much hassle to bust them. Note 'For Sale' sign at 5, they are having a job selling, a number of potential buyers backed out: I think we can guess why! The tyremarks in the snow on the path outside 5 go all the way to the Suzuki. Evidence of her charming habit of not only using the pavement as a parking space, but as an acceleration/deceleration lane to/from the dropped kerb so as to prevent kerbstrikes damaging her wheels & tyres!

Doing alright

A little jiving on a Saturday night

And come what may

Gonna dance the day away

Jenny was sweet

Show a smile for the people she needs

I'm trouble, let's drive,

I don't know the way you came alive

News is blue (the news is blue)

Has its own way to get to you

What can I do (what can I do)

When I remember my time with you

Pick up your feet

Got to move to the trick of the beat

There is no lead

Just take your place in the driver's seat

Driver's seat, oohoo, driver's seat, yeah

So, for the first time, Cheeseburger at "The Driver"...afriad that it could have done without the mediocre mild cheddar melt (below the (faultless) meat) and was just begging for some relish on top, mind you, the ciabatta was *perfectly* toasted...not too bad, but not the best I'm afraid...
