I really love "The Riches"---the show is well-written and well-acted. Except when it comes to the use of an iPhone. I know I'm getting awfully nerdy here, but it's a little too obvious that Minnie Driver's character is using the phone upside-down. Apparently, this has also been observed on Friday Night Lights and Bionic Woman.

This gentleman drives one of the ubiquitous green street sweepers in Paris. I walked up to him and told him how much I appreciate his work and we had a nice chat about the importance of keeping city streets neat and clean. He drives his sweeper in all parts of Paris and sees thousands of people each and very day and was clearly very proud of his work. I was very happy when he agreed to have his portrait taken in the cabin of his vehicle. I decided that the respect for the photograph was more important than getting him moving again as fast as possible so I made sure to got the shot I wanted before waving goodbye.

Console manufacturers would have you believe you have to spend hundreds of pounds on New TV's, new glasses and buy special 3D games to play in 3D like this.

Not so, this is a live screen shot from Crysis when played in anaglyph 3D using the iZ3D Driver (freeware), look at the colours and clarity of the image its superb. You can adjust paralax and move the whole scene in and out of the screen all on the fly during live game play.

Im fed up with the big 3D con, im seriously considering moving back to the PC for games, when every single game, even ones as graphically complex as Crysis can be played in High Def 3D at no extra cost, with your existing equipment.

The iZ3D driver can be downloaded here, it has minimal effect on frame rate and will work on all 3D games on your PC if you have a half decent graphics card.

Ok, so on the day I was leaving for Canada I had to drive from Pinelands(suburbs) to the City Center. It was the first time in ages I'd had to drive in suburbia in the morning. Anyways, I was behind this car driving INCREDIBLY slowly. Eventually we got to a traffic light and I pulled up next to the car to overtake... This is what I was greated with... I promise you I almost pissed in my pants. She was not happy with me taking the pic, but come on! Look how far forward her seat is.
