Jimbo and went to this place after the closing of the mortgage refinancing. Drinks and tapas, my new favorite dinner.
Actually this was brackish water but still not something that I would enjoy drinking!
This was Buddy's last weekend with us & the girls. But look who is in the water!!! More to come I gotta get some sleep!
My dad's 50th birthday was celebrated with a few drinks down at the local pub. A few of his old friends (some he hadn't seen for years) were invited, and duly turned up.
Although other things happened, the wrapping paper in the background sums up my day, as January 2nd will always be remembered as my dad's birthday.
Other contenders for the 2nd January's photo were my new curtains for the front room, and my TV whilst playing Animal Crossing for the Wii (which my fiancée wouldn't let me play until the new curtains were hanging!).

So we went back to my first house, my MIL and I... we emptied my room, completely emptied it. That too was upsetting, but it needed to be done. I might return there again, I don’t know. But I had this feeling I was saying goodbye to a lot of things, closing a door on all those things. I had never thought about it before, not in that aspect. All in all, it had been a very long day, so I thought I deserved a non-alcoholic beer, hence my title ;)
Fr: Donc nous nous sommes rendues a ma premiere demeure... nous avons completement vide ma chambre. Ca aussi, c’etait troublant, mais il fallait le faire. Je vais peut-etre y retourner, je n’en sais rien. Mais j’avais le sentiment que je disais au revoir a plein de choses, que je refermais la porte sur toutes ces annees. Je n’y avais jamais pense ainsi. Au final, ca a ete une longue journee, donc j’estimais que je meritais un panache... D’ou mon titre ;)
