Royal Leamington Spa where the great and the good came to take the waters for their health-giving qualities in the 19th century .... You can sample the same to this day and there's this drinking fountain urging you to try! Now, more familiar with Buxton and their delicious natural spring of refreshing water, where there is usually a long queue of folk waiting to fill everything and anything for free, I thought I'd go for it and fill my bottle. Oh, dear! It is awful, like drinking sea water ... perfectly safe to consume and, no doubt, excellent for health but quite undrinkable.

Besides coffee I also love their iced thirst quencher Sunrise Lime. I can't remember the name of the second drink. I'm guessing -- orange + celery mixed.

Thought I'd snap a few photos of Ariel drinking to see what I can get. . . I have to head to work, but it gives me an idea for what my camera can do with a cat drinking. . .

There's a myth that koalas don't need to drink water, they get all their nutritional needs from gum leaves. That may be the case normally, but during prolonged drought last year the leaves were so dry that this koala descended from a tree and climbed into this storm water drain near my work, to get to the trickle of water.
Luckily it was so dry there was no chance of a flash flood.
