My last day of Genève
There are a lot of drinking fountains in the city and the taste is superb!

This is one of those popular "Filipino" drinks . . . perfect for hot summer days. We're having somewhat of a heat wave here in the Bay Area so I thought I'd make some drinks out of cantaloupe. This is so refreshing and easy to make . . .
~ cantaloupe
~ water
~ sugar
~ ice-cubes or crushed ice
You will also need:
** Melon scrapper (a scraper designed for scrapping melon or coconut)
Pitcher
Tall drinking glass
Method:
1. Cut the melon in half, remove the seeds.
2. Shred the cantaloupe using the melon scrapper and put inside pitcher.
3. Mix together the melon shreds, water, ice and sugar.
4. Stir (add sugar according to taste)
5. Pour into glasses, serve cold and enjoy!
** The melon scrapper can be bought at some Asian/Oriental Markets.
Also, the amount of water depends on how much melon flavor you want.
A Great Thick-knee (Esacus recurvirostris) was filling it's thirst with an unique pose in a morning. I had to lie down behind an elevated land to escape its notice and to have it at the eye level. The background looked beautifully blurred to make this portrait a charming one. Pics was taken from the riverbeds of Testa river in North Bengal, India.
Rather like this shot while waiting for a sunrise at Ullswater noticed a dog coming down to the water edge to get a drink.

With my drinking buddies and coolest friends, we went here after 100yrs to celebrate 3 april birthday celebrants and my last day of work (or it's just another reason for us to drink) anyway, this photo, again, one of my sneaky shots, I am surprised that it is not allowed to take photos here, dammit! good thing i finished the shot after the guard caught me taking picture.
I gave the flock at Wright-Locke Farm some fresh water today, and soon they were chugging Ito down. Since birds don't have swallowing muscles, they have to tilt their head back to get the water down.
