Winter rain: A favourite drink. We had a reasonable amount of rain this week which the plants in the garden need and love. Water is a favourite drink of mine too. For Definitely Dreaming Week 28 theme: A favourite drink.

Grizzly cub drinking water at low tide from the estuary, Khutzeymateen Grizzly Bear Sanctuary, BC. The salinity in the estuary depends on the tide; at high tide the estuary is filled with ocean water, and at low tide, such as here, the salinity is low, dominated by the water coming from the Khutzeymateen River.

My cat loves to drink frm the spring. I can¨t get him to drink from his cup. He's so cute!

Drinking fountains are usually found in public places, like schools, rest areas, libraries, and grocery stores. A survey of US dialects undertaken between 2002 and 2004 found the word bubbler is commonly used in southern and eastern Wisconsin and in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. The phrase drinking fountain was common in the rest of the inland north and in the west, while water fountain dominated other parts of the country

Well we had to try it, it was ok, I quite liked it. It tastes a bit like butterscotch but a bit fizzy.

I wanted us to all try it and get the froth on our lips. Emily didn’t like at all but at least she tried it, Richard didn’t like it but got the best froth pic!

Couple of shots from a brief wander around Newcastle before meeting up with a few other photographers for a long overdue night out!

Finally, my last project photo for 124 pictures. I don't drink alcohol myself and though Clive rarely drinks at home unless we have guests, when I opened the drinks cupboard I found a good assortment to take a photo of.

124 pictures in 2024 (4) alcohol

All shots are taken with my old Pentax Zoom 280P that I used 20 years ago.

Hannah's play dough creation . Notice the pop can is on it side so the worm can wiggle right up to it and drink threw the hole... Hannah informed me that the pop can can NEVER sit upright (like ours) or the worm can't drink..... duh... I knew that.
