A candid taken in a pub in West London a few years ago. This guy is.... my dad! He played in a jazz band every Tuesday night at the Brewery Tap pub in Brentford for many years until he moved out of the area. Canon EOS 5D & 85mm f/1.2L wide open.
The great thing about watching Wildlife is that you can occasionally witness behaviour that you have never seen before.
A case in point here.This Snipe scooped up some water into his bill and then put his head up to allow him to swallow it!

A little Fox came in for a drink and my trail cam grabbed this shot. One of these summer nights I'm going to setup my camo blind and spend the night out here with my R5 and see what I can capture. With my luck, the farmers cows would come in and I'd get trampled
Monitoring the incoming tide in a marsh pond, this handsome male ae’o searches for fish, arthropods, invertebrates, and an occasional drink of water. Periodically flooded by tides, this type of coastal ecosystem is the favorite habitat of Hawaiian stilts. Though frequently seen in the main Hawaiian archipelago, ae’o, the Hawaiian stilt, is listed as endangered due to loss of habitat and predation by introduced species.
