This illustration accompanied an article in an old edition of the Illustrated Police News, which was reprinted in a book that I was reading the other night.
The article and picture provided the seed for that night's dream, as I describe in the usual manner here.
Incidentally, this week is the blog's fourth anniversary. Happy birthday, blog o' mine!
