Sculpture by Hans (Jean) Arp, Marble, 1958. Kunsthalle, Hamburg. Arp started out as a Dadaist, then developed constructionist and abstract shapes such as this delightful one. It is, of course, a photographer's joy. Fuji X-Pro1.
As a little boy, I had a dream to bounce from one cotton cloud to another. Later when gravity became familiar to me, fell also that dream, but luckily the dreams did not end and best of all they are all free.
I really appreciate your visit, comment or fave - thanks so much.

As the sun goes down on another day in the suburbs, the lights come on. All is calm as people return to their meals and television entertainment.

This is a 1” x 1.5” section of a Dream Catcher. Macro Mondays- Superstition. A Dream Catcher’s original concept in the First Nations Ojibwe (Chippewa)tribe was that it offered protection from nightmares. It is believed that each carefully woven web will catch your dreams in the night. The bad spirit dreams will become entangled in the sticky web and disappear in the new day. The good spirit dreams will find their way through the center opening, and bless the dreamer with peaceful dreams. Traditionally, dreamcatchers are hung over a cradle or bed as protection. It is a circle (usually a willow branch) With a web woven in the middle. Sometimes( contemporary) thin leather strips with beads or feathers dangle from the bottom for good dreams to slide down to the person sleeping.

The only explanation needed is being in a waking dream that takes you on a ride through endless colors and beauty.

Placing the last orders for seeds after looking through more seed catalogs/websites than I can count. One of late Winter's most wonderful rituals for gardeners. All sorts of color combinations of Zinnia on this final order... which the butterflies love for the nectar.
Which all leads to dreaming of Spring & Summer gardens... :)
This pic is a combination of my original pic and with partial conversion of my pic via Google Deep Dream. During conversion, the picture runs through the computer algorithm setting that would produce hybrids of animals that the computer sees in it's "dreams".
Google Deep Dreams is open source. I dig it, and you can give a try.
Thanks to Photomaginarium for the inspiration.
Life is full of working hard to achieve your dreams.
The difficult part of life is about your most important dreams that are out of your control. All you can do is continue to believe they will happen.
In the bed of silk i lay, material slick and cold.
Red hair across soft pillow, moon light shining on the outside snow.
My heart drifts, to the world where one would possibly be.
Eyes to watch me, fingers to guide me, a hand to control my strings.
A heart sitting in shadows, broad, open and still.
In a chest overwhelmed in sounds with the desires of pounding need..
Deeper I go, into the land of moonlit dreams, seeing sweet touches of the hand upon me.
I wish to never wake up from shadow, unless I feel in early morning light, that loving pull of my strings.

Hello Everyone,
Happy Saturday to all of you and I hope you all are staying warm if you are in the snowy cold areas and if you are in the ropics on a beach, under brezzy palms, well...please call me and I will book the next flight. :)
Please forgive my attempt at a little poetry, I use to write all the time when I was much younger, I would fill my diaries with all sorts of things, I fell out of practice having gone off to school and now a working woman with little time on her hands. I did however was inspired to write something to go with this photo I took, I normally do not do Black and white at all, but it seemed fitting with the theme.
I hope you all have a wonderful Saturday and weekend and I promise the fan requests are coming, I appreciate and love all of you for your requests and encouragements. Then mean the world to me.
Thank you again for allowing me to share my photo with you and till next time.
XOXO,
Hildda
