Nocturn
Kate Bush
The chorus:
Sweet dreams...
On this Midsummer night
Everyone is sleeping
We go driving into the moonlight
Could be in a dream
Our clothes are on the beach
These prints of our feet
Lead right up to the sea
No one, no one is here
No one, no one is here
We stand in the Atlantic
We become panoramic
We tire of the city
We tire of it all
We long for just that something more
Could be in a dream
Our clothes are on the beach
The prints of our feet
Lead right up to the sea
No one, no one is here
No one, no one is here
We stand in the Atlantic
We become panoramic
The stars are caught in our hair
The stars are on our fingers
A veil of diamond dust
Just reach up and touch it
The sky’s above our heads
The sea’s around our legs
In milky, silky water
We swim further and further
We dive down... We dive down
A diamond night, a diamond sea
and a diamond sky...
We dive deeper and deeper
we dive deeper and deeper
Could be we are here
Could be in a dream
It came up on the horizon
Rising and rising
In a sea of honey, a sky of honey
A sea of honey, a sky of honey
The chorus:
Look at the light, all the time it’s a changing
Look at the light, climbing up the aerial
Bright, white coming alive jumping off of the aerial
All the time it’s a changing, like now...
All the time it’s a changing, like then again...
All the time it’s a changing
And all the dreamers are waking
Summer travel plans are getting firmer by the day...
I've started dreaming about the desert.

It is said that if you reach the bottom whilst dreaming of falling, you'll never awaken.
This is my first attempt at conceptual fine art, I'm brand new to this style of photography, (a story in an image), greatly inspired by the work of 'Brooke Shaden'. I'm quite pleased with how this turned out and will be trying more idea's I already have in my head in the future.
This is the movie based on my 'DREAMS' photoproject. You can also watch full-version on youtube - www.youtube.com/watch?v=PLjYy_-S8Vw

Most of the wide-open views of the CP tracks West of Portage, Wisconsin, are flanked with power lines that ruin the view. However, an extreme zoom shot helped make the approaching train look a bit more like a watercolor dream than a real-life event.

The stunning Dream, by Jaume Plensa, rising out of the ground at the site of the former Sutton Manner Colliery. The work is based on the head of a young Spanish girl, and is visible to thousands of people driving too and from Merseyside on the M62.

I dreamed as in my bed I lay,
All night's fathomless wisdom come,
That I had shorn my locks away
And laid them on Love's lettered tomb:
But something bore them out of sight
In a great tumult of the air,
And after nailed upon the night
Berenice's burning hair. .............

This 2 metre hanging has been influenced by 'A Midsummer Nights Dream'. The darkness of the fabric represents the nightime sky in the summer. Antique sequines glimmer on its surface like stars in the night sky. Skeleton leaves, preserved leaves and berries are stitched onto the fabric. Lengths of clear fishing wire threated with sequins and clear glass beads have been stitched to give more texture and add mystery when standing infront the piece.
Mosaic in the Curtis Building, Philadelphia, designed by Maxfield Parrish and executed by Louis Comfort Tiffany.

Look back in this set to see the development of this painting that is now stretched, but not quite dry. Some of the white areas now will clear revealing the colors that are under them.
Dreams and sorrows like fallen empires
Cast about within my conscience
At each event a line is crossed
When every horizon is another place
When mountains rise and rivers flow
And forests cover every land
And merge into unending vistas
With great sky’s above
That threatens storms
That brings about alertness
Am I not then within that place
That other land without a face
It is here and now in quiet grace
Awakened with sorrows memory
That I return alone from dreams
Only to see them vanish in quickened time
The memory seeps away the fear
Released from dark with no one near
To see the look within my eyes
That only another soul could see
The light of a new day then draws near
A future that’s part clear
Reveals that Its hear and now
This place of life
This world of my birth
This space that I am within
Not alone as dreams might say
No proof that there is another way
Where only shadows race
Before some ghostly sun.
Poem: by Richard Walker 21 September 2011
Note: Awakened from a vivid dream can sometimes have us for a moment in that strange place between memory and reality, we try to measure what seems to be a real experience with what is real.

If I had the money I would visit again and book to stay at this villa. Sadly it won't happen but we all have a dream view.
