Title: Dreaming
This is an original oil painting by artist Christopher Clark of a beautiful young woman reclining nude on a couch, with the warm glow of afternoon sunlight illuminating the window.
It's far too hot as of late. Going through some old photos I found this one of OSR on it's way into Guelph on a lovely winter morning. Unfortunately, Every time I've shot this spot, it's been cloudy.
yup thats right i dreaming of warmer weather and lots of green stuff, i've decided to take a trip in April to Savannah . They know green, and history so away i will go ......look out Georgia here i come!!
Yet another Contest entry. Yep, I've been busy. Anyways, I built this about two weeks ago, and it was quite fun and quick. I had the idea to have him dreaming of something terrifying in his bed. What else would you do with the sleeping face?

“Follow your dreams the money will follow. When you have a passion for something do it for free to learn it the best you can. Working without the pressure for results makes it more fun and allows you to use your creative skills. Do what you love better than others. Find ways to get your work seen by others.”
I rant my madness sometimes...
I am in my 40s and I have done this my entire life. I follow my dream and do what I love. When I love doing something it is not work it is something I enjoy doing. There are ups and downs but that is what life is all about “THE JOURNEY”. If I have a full time job I can do what I love on the side. When I do this I get to a point I can decide if I want to follow this path or not. Many times I have ended up doing the thing on the side for a full time job. I now do what I love with a team of people and have a hobby being photography. I have found I have so many things I love I never have the time to do them so I have to be careful what black hole I get sucked into.
I have encouraged others to do this in my past and some have done amazing things. Others don’t want to do things for free as they are starting off. I find this interesting and not the best path to take!
The world has changed with the Internet. People with hobbies start online with blogs and sometime end up have large companies. Photographer Chase Jarvis come to mind when I stay this. He is now corporate and would never do anything for free and so he shouldn’t. He knows his skill very well and has a great team around him or so is my perception. ;) Perception is all you need with the Internet. What I like about Chase is he started his blog showing the old school tricks of the trade of the old school working photographers. The old school photographers hated this and still do in many cases. Chase would get and gets an amazing following learning as he goes. He shares his failures and his wins as he works that helps make readers feel for him and relate more to him. He is a new world Internet master in my opinion. With the internet or technology there is always this window of time and he found it at the right time. Now to go up against him is hard for the text book paper grad photographer. Chase has a passion and a following that gets him work. The new grad has to prove him/her self. The days of learning at school are gone and the days of learning online from blogs and youtube videos are here. I don’t think you need a degree these days I think you need the discipline to learn online and stay the course. Business knowledge is helpful but you can learn from your mistakes as you go. Chase is an example of photography but you can see this over and over again in journalism and other areas. Miss 604 is a great example of a local blog in journalism. I have not read your story in the books she has wrote about this change but want to. I am not saying this about every trade but I have seen this in many industries as the world shifts with the Internet. I don’t want a doctor learning from a one off yourtube videos. Lol YET anyway.

Photo by my son on one of his walks.
Dream is a 2009 sculpture and a piece of public art by Jaume Plensa , on the old Sutton Manor Colliery site, St Helens, Merseyside.
Dream consists of an elongated white structure 66 feet (20 m) tall, weighing 500 tonnes, which has been cast to resemble the head and neck of a young woman with her eyes closed in meditation. The structure is coated in sparkling white Spanish dolomite, as a contrast to the coal which used to be mined here. It cost nearly £1.9 million and it is hoped it will become as powerful a symbol in North West England as Antony Gormley's Angel of the North is in North East England.
Jaume Plensa himself stated "When I first came to the site I immediately thought something coming out of the earth was needed. I decided to do a head of a nine-year-old girl which is representing this idea of the future. It's unique."
heh... sometimes I can't resist the rather cheezalicious edits. Like this one for instance...
In a few short steps (a little warmified bw treatment and soft foucs) I have transformed a rather ordinary photo of W. sitting on the grassy side of the Prince George Civic Centre and recreated the dream sequence of many a boy (or those slightly confused girls)...
It's the classic dreamboat on campus scene. W. looks the part here, with his fine Italian footwear, dashing sport jacket casually strewn on the grass beside him, all while assuming a contemplative crossed arm pose.
And the boys and girls all wondered what intelligent thoughts he was thinking.
I'm taking suggestions for the soundtrack of this dream sequence.
to appease the model... he not only is talented in front of the camera, but behind it as well. Check out Wader's photostream
When I dream, it will be the beginning of time. When I awake, it will be with two palms timidly outstretched to praise the derelict beauty of the universe.

This shoot was themed based on the fact that we're having a veeery strange winter here in Canada. Usually by this time I would be sliding on ice while walking on the ground and having my ears, nose, and eyelashes collecting ice, but the weather is tame this year, and if it snows it barely lasts for 24 hours before the rain washes it away. I don't know if I should complain or not, there's still about two months of winter left, we'll see, lol.
A custom Licca, Nona, dreaming of snow angels. <3
The other night when I came home and there was a bit of snow on the ground I literally made a snow angel on my driveway, hahaha.
"Dreaming a Reality - Senses Fail"
Dreaming my reality
where truth and fiction don't seem to exist
Confusion is home here, but believe in you is what you insist (it's what you insist)
Well I try and i won't get far,
i'll die and i won't get far
i'll try and know that everything's ok
I have no idea why there's a British flag in this. I thought it looked good, haha.
i am grateful because God has given me the capacity to dream but not without the posibilities of turning them into realities!

... a congratulations to the dream fly, herself, my daughter and the "father of the bride-to-be" my son-in-law and to Allison who this year got herself engaged to the college "hunk" and graduated with a degree in interior architectural design...or some such. Here's the link to the photoshow which features the Andrews Sisters (something old) with their rendition of "Beat Me Daddy, Eight to the Bar" ... and to Allison, "You keep on drumming eight to the bar, gal ... you're on the right track....
