Dreaming by Blondie !

"Dreaming"

When I met you in the restaurant

You could tell I was no debutante

You asked me what's my pleasure

A movie or a measure?

I'll have a cup of tea and tell you of my dreaming

Dreaming is free

I don't want to live on charity

Pleasure's real or is it fantasy?

Reel to reel is living rarity

People stop and stare at me We just walk on by - we just keep on dreaming

Feet feet, walking a two mile

Meet meet, meet me at the turnstile

I never met him, I'll never forget him

Dream dream, even for a little while

Dream dream, filling up an idle hour

Fade away, radiate

I sit by and watch the river flow

I sit by and watch the traffic go

Imagine something of your very own

Something you can have and hold

I'd build a road in gold just to have some dreaming

Dreaming is free

Dreaming

Dreaming is free

Dreaming

Dreaming is free

Resort at Zero point, Binsar, Uttarakhand, India.

This place overlooks about 400 kms of the Himalayan mountain ranges and the view is really breathtaking, on clear days that is. On other days your eyes can still feast on some amazing cloud formations. A "bit" over processed to emphasize the couds :)

~~DREAM~~

by: Priscilla Ahn

I was a little girl alone in my little world who dreamed of a little home for me.

I played pretend between the trees, and fed my house guests bark and leaves, and laughed in my pretty bed of green.

I had a dream

I could fly from the highest swing.

I had a dream.

Long walks in the dark through woods grown behind the park, I asked God who I'm supposed to be.

The stars smiled down on me, God answered in silent reverie.

I said a prayer and fell asleep.

I had a dream

I could fly from the highest tree.

I had a dream.

Oooooooooooooooooo (8x)

Now I'm old and feeling grey. I don't know what's left to say about this life I'm willing to leave.

I lived it full and I lived it well, there's many tales I've lived to tell. I'm ready now, I'm ready now, I'm ready now to fly from the highest wing.

I had a dream

DAY 29/365

a week long of uneven MIGRAINE.. ATTACKS.. huh.. its like an unexplained entry to some weird world. both colorful and weird :P

I took this picture while I was dreaming. Kidding. I was on a photoshoot job for a wedding and while running between pictures of the groomsmen and the bridesmaids I turned my head, stopped to take this one-shot for personal satisfaction and carried on with my job. I was really surprised at how it turned out.

What more can I say? Dreaming in my garden, about what...that's private :)

We are always dreaming...

Celebrating The Dream

Black History Month With the Blues singer Roy Young.

Over 500 students sang and danced along with the international Soul and Blues singer Roy Young and his band at a program to celebrate Black History Month.

Throughout the performance, Roy demonstrated the deep connection between African- American music and the struggle for equal rights as illustrated during the Civil Rights Movement in the 1960s in the United States. He engaged with many of the students personally, and got them to understand how their lives are connected to this seminal moment in American history.

Jewish and Arab students from Lod, Ramla, Tel Aviv, Hura, Tel Sheva, Kseife, Shoham, Beer Sheva, Mazkeret Batya, Kfar Yona, Taibe, Abu Tlul and Jisser A-Zarka, many of them participants of the Embassy’s English Access Microscholarhsip program, gathered together to commemorate Black History Month, and to promote and celebrate the values of tolerance, respect and equal rights for all.

Born in the hills of Jamaica, Roy Young was attracted to Soul and Blues music at an early age. Residing in Israel, Roy and his band have cooperated with the U.S. Embassy for many years, using music to promote peace, tolerance and understanding between diverse communities living in Israel.

The project was implemented in partnership with Lod Municipality.

All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them

I had a dream, nightmare actually! I was driving when I saw a dump truck coming around the curve of an overpass on two wheels. I said to myself, “it’s going to go over the edge!” It did, and just a short distance from where I was in my vehicle. It landed upside down, the driver and a policeman (don’t ask me where he came from!) were trapped underneath.

I drove closer, staying out of the way of emergency personnel, camera in hand. I took pictures of the rescue efforts but I did it without the flash as I didn’t want to draw attention to myself. Unfortunately during one shot it fired. Two police officers came over and told me I couldn’t take pictures. One of them, a female officer, wanted to see my camera to see what I had been shooting; she was sure I had been taking unauthorized pictures of people. I told here there was nothing in that camera that was illegal.

She looked at my pictures, I’d been out shooting people that day, and handed my camera to someone else. She was talking to me and when I looked over my shoulder I saw my camera in a plastic bag with a big, red “evidence” sticker on it! I argued, stating there was nothing wrong with any of my pictures. She said it would be a month before I could get my camera back. I yelled at her, “I can’t wait that long, I live my life through my camera!” Another police officer came over and started poking me in the chest, telling me to shut up.

She wouldn’t budge, telling me I might or might not get it back. No matter what I said I couldn’t get my camera back. So I finally told her, “fine, keep it, I’ll just go out and buy a new camera right now!” So guess what camera I bought!

Aren’t dreams weird, and fun!
