Possum Dreaming by Michael Nelson Tjakamarra, which at the time of its creation was the largest authentic Indigenous painting on canvas, is on permanent display in the Northern Foyer of the Opera Theatre of the Sydney Opera House.
I like this painting style a lot.
I just got my tshirts delivered that I ordered from To Write Love On Her Arms.
It took more then one month for shipping and everything. Crazy thing. But I'm extremely happy, that they got here.
I love the message on them. Especially the "Fears vs Dreams, Pain vs. Hope."

I really like the idea behind TWLOHA and wanted to support them with buying a shirt but also because of personal issues...
Although I'm not struggeling with suicide I sometimes feel depressed. And in the last weeks with stress from university I had quite hard times managing my feelings on some days. For this reason I want to remind myself, that there may be fears and pain, but there is also the other side: dreams and hope.
I want to hold on and trust, that God gives me the strength I need to go through these things. He is with me. He can be my strength, when all I see is my own weakness.
Please, Lord, be strong in me.

I had a dream that I was in a store where they were selling Blacksuits but in the dream they were morphing into different shapes or textures or changing from orange and black to yellow, blue and white. These images created with prompts using recraftai get close to how the figurines looked in the dream.

{Because I know someone will complain, the floating pieces of hair and ambience in the middle was on purpose, I wanted the feeling of two worlds, two dreams colliding and being absorbed into each other. Una "piazza di taxi" a Nablus, la seconda città più grande della West Bank, che sta vivendo una fase di boom economico e immobiliare da quando il blocco da parte dell'esercito israeliano è stato rimosso nel 2009. Prima di allora, i cittadini di Nablus aveva bisogno di un permesso per uscire dalla città.
"The Palestinian Dream" di Andrea & Magda è un lavoro fotografico che svela il nuovo volto della Palestina, da sempre rappresentata intorno al conflitto: l’emergere del liberalismo influenzato dalla comunità internazionale sta trasformando la società e l’economia.
Le città principali quali Ramallah, Betlemme e Nablus stanno conoscendo una metamorfosi: centri commerciali, banche, compagnie di assicurazione, fast food ed hotel di lusso vengono costruiti in continuazione e stanno emergendo forme di divertimento tipiche dell’occidente, tra cui club equestri e musicali, palestre ecc.
Pur restando uno dei paesi al mondo più dipendenti dagli aiuti esterni, la Palestina sta vivendo con questo ideale di modernità e con l’illusione di uno sviluppo economico sotto l’occupazione.
Il lavoro è stato esposto a Sydney nell‘ambito del Festival di fotografia Head On in collaborazione con l'Istituto Italiano di Cultura.

This necklace is my February ABS entry,
I was struck by soft, yet striking colors of the painting. To me it seemed to have a dream like quality . I used some hollow glass beads and gossamer silk ribbon to try to capture that feeling. Frosted recycled glass, pearls ,smooth gemstones and a few of my own polymer clay birds completed my "dream " piece .
