My dreads at 6 or 7 weeks (I can't remember).

When I just started, there were only a few here. The colors are all off because of the flash, but they're a light ash/platinum mixed blonde, neon magenta, and a couple in a rusty auburn color that was labeled "Fiesta Orange". These look bad because they were sealed with a hair dryer. Very bad.

My son had a ball here. Nothing like the sweet ocean air to refresh the soul. The lupin is beautiful there. I am working on a watercolor painting of it which I wil share here at flickr

I made this wrap from some fabric I ordered on eBay from an estate in Paris. I also made a curtain for my front door from it :)

Been experimenting with split toning. I don't know what the key to this is, but I reckon it's something to do with a large monitor and an up to date, RAM packed computer set up. Or maybe just artistic skill. Further investigations shall proceed.

this was taken the day I decided to begin my journey-on o6.o7.o7- as you can see, I had a big mess of curly madness that wanted to knot up on its own anyways. it was either cut my hair short-no thanks- or lock them up ;)

Echinacea flowers

Peppermint leaves

Frosty green sage leaves

Baby Grapes dancing

In the background

Sun rays feeding them

I have watched them grow

I have given them water

I talked to them

They are kind plants

Living there life under the sun

And under the moon

They have a lot to tell me

They have a lot to teach me

I touch them

And they touch me

Giving me there loving energy

Their vibrations are strong

All pulled back...I almost look like a respectable, mainstream, conforming mama. bwaaa haa ha :)

As you may know my hair is VERY long, nearly long enough to sit on. I have been wanting to trim my locks to an even belly-button length but my husband asked me to not cut my hair. So I have been experimenting around with different ways to put my hair up as I am tired of my old bun style.

This is just my locks pulled back into a simple loose semi-bun. Knotted loop stopped hair from falling down but it looks very loose and casual. Hair wrap over loose hair in front. In this style hair fell to breast-length and was kept out of my way.

While the wife and I walked around the local golf course taking pictures this young man crossed the street to work or somewhere. He as carrying the heavy knitted cap that they wear when the hair is a burden. Naturally his cell Iphone accompanied him to his destination.

I love the way it just wraps around my head and leaves just a little bit of my dreaded hair hanging out the back. And the colors are just beautiful. I love it.
