Our love flows forever
Between the distance
We make ourselves stronger
We know the law of attraction
We came down to earth knowing
Eventually our love would be showing
All of the world will feel our power
It is an epic adventure for us two
Making plans and making do
We have erased time
We commited no crime
Spinning in a world all our own
With you I will be finally home
This is after a little crocheting. I do not have the patience to sit and work on each dread! I just did some really wild ones :)
On both sides, around my temples I have a ton of loose hair, the sides are exactly the same, weird! Eventually when it gets long enough I may try to dread it.
I met Alicia online...and she invited us to come and stay at their house as one of the first stops of our tour. We had a fabulous time with their family and have been in touch with them ever since. We had another chance to meet up while we were home, and it was such a sweet time of fellowship and conversation. She started her dreadlocks after we met the first time, so it was so fun to see how they have progressed! It's amazing how God can create such a wonderful friendship across so many miles. I'm overjoyed that we had a few hours at a little coffeehouse in St. Cloud to encourage each other in our journey.
Happy first week birthday Dreadies!! :)
I've decided to do this without the wax after reading some very scary stories. I've washed most of it out which was such a pain!

Back shot view of my dreadlocks April 2006. I was going to cut them, then I was gonna cut them shorter, so I cut several inches off a few. Then I decided to leave them alone.
