A big cherry blossom shaped drawstring bag with beautiful Japanese kimono fabrics. A small flower bloomed on the end of the strings★
I usually make little one for sachet but someone suggested me to make bigger one. So here is!!
This is a big enough to put your cosmetic things, mobile phone etc...you can still use this for sachet :)
This bag fascinate all of your friends!
The material is called Chirimen, a special crepe a little heavier than normal fabric used in making Kimono.
A simpática dona da Broomfields explicou-me que o interesse pelo bordado está a "renascer" na Nova Zelândia e que também está a começar a ser transmitido às crianças. Disse que tem dificuldade em encontrar "Kits" (oficinas...) para crianças ou principiantes e que ficou encantada com as nossas!!!

I wish I had finished knitting the sweaters that will go in these bags, but I didn't. At least my halls are throughly decked.

Lined cap, with eight section crown eased into narrow band, has front brim and self covered button trim. Elasticized back adjusts to head size. Lined drawstring bag, in two sizes, has self straps, patch pockets with or without snapped flaps, and button and top stitched trim.

Here we have the new photos of my bags done by a great photographer friend. Over time he will be upgrading my photos for me! Tihs is a Stag's Head Hand embroidered with Silver metallic thread. This bag is big enough for a large sized Tarot Deck or Oracle Cards. People have also used these bags for jewellery, crystals, runes and more!
B chose his fabrics. He chose the purple tshirt for the drawstrings b/c "it's really aggressive!". I have no clue what that means... oh to be a 5 year old boy! :)

Esta é a última encomenda da agulha não pica que já está disponÃvel na patch-mania, nas Galerias do Alto da Barra em Oeiras...
Gosto de pensar na patch-mania como uma "retrosaria gourmet"...
Mas é, acima de tudo, uma loja especializada em tecidos e acessórios para patchwork e um ponto de encontro de aprendizes e entusiastas destas artes.
Sempre que passo por lá o ambiente de trabalho é contagiante! É dá gosto ver gente com tanta vontade de aprender!
E como é dessa vontade de aprender que o sucesso da agulha não pica depende, esses "ares" são muito bons para nós...
Foi a segunda loja a acolher este projecto e nunca esquecerei o entusiasmo e a confiança com que foi recebido.
É de lá também a minha caixa de costura, que me foi oferecida num Natal em que a agulha não pica estava mesmo a desabrochar... Há por lá muitos outros presentes de "encher o olho"... E outros que poderão ser criados à luz da imaginação de cada um... E sempre alguém muito disponÃvel para ajudar na escolha.
Visitem que vale MESMO a pena!

I make no apology for uploading multiple images of our latest puzzle, from a new brand: Wooden Cuties.
Packed in a sturdy box with an illustration of the enclosed puzzle on the front, and a 'puzzle assembly record' to fill in on the back, this brand joins the growing number of British makers using laser technology.
Nice thick pieces (although some are a little on the too-small side for me) and a good selection of whimsies, it's got a slightly loose fit which gives the 'feel' of a hand cut, push-fit puzzle.
Most of the available images aren't to my taste, but I'm hoping that there will be a larger selection in the New Year.
Will I be buying more in future? Probably!
This tutorial will show you how to make a simple drawstring bag with French seams. French seams encase your raw edges so that you don’t need to add a lining and you will end up with a very neat little bag. Once you have made one, you will want to stitch yourself a little stash, they are perfect to use as toy bags, laundry bags or a even a wash bag.
