My favorite poncho
Ponchos have come and gone from my closet, but I’ve had this one for 13 years!
The drape of this wool poncho is so lovely! I’ve been wearing it for years and it looks as good, today, as it did in 2008.
Poncho, Newport News. Tank, Stella Laguna Beach (consignment). Skirt, Mural (thrifted). Boots, Franco Sarto (thrifted).
Attempt for utata ip 275 which requires:
1. A sheet (or drapery)
2. A location where we don't expect to find a sheet (or drapery)
3. A Gothic mood
On this day I didn't have a sheet on me so draped my scarf over the fence.

I love the scent of this May flower. It was a perfect end to a walk in a beautiful garden in the afternoon sun. Tulips are in the bokeh, but won't last much longer.

It has been some time I chanced a stroll among the unmasked precovid McIntosh lake but after this year's extended wait for spring, I was looking for anything green and I noticed this sky at Lake McIntosh below hanging cottonwood limbs. It seems the clouds and limbs are draping this scene to to show what our fleeting mini-spring ought to have looked like. OK, I decided it was time to switch the subject away from dead eastern lumber!
We'll see what is to come later as the usual afternoon clouds start their creep over the Rockies. I'm all about clouds and sky; have you looked over brilliant sky masters like Edward Weston? Like always, he saw them as nudes. I bet his photography is on the web. This is not a nude as far as I can tell.
Today, we are locked into an early two week heat stroke that Trump says is NOT Global Warming. Today some clouds are providing some relief as we pray for late afternoon clearing. Our current string of days over 90 degrees will extend over two weeks.
