A lightly frosted old heather bud was draped beautifully in a spider's web showing pearl-like dew drops against the light.

Just one of those quite moments walking through the park...snow has begun to fall, the sun is beginning to rise, absolute quiet surrounds everything and the soft crunch of last nights snow underfoot....
still loving this dress and just can't face putting it into storage just yet. might have to leave it until the spring just in case we get a little snow because I think with the right lighting and location I could get some nice photos and I do know someone with a husky.

I'm still obsessed with all of that ice, those glistening daggers of white created by the wintry fury of Mother Nature.
I hadn't done a study in a while, and so this was a exercise in skin tones and mood. Also, all my recent images had a lot of dark tones in them and I wanted to try something as opposite as I could.
Done over many couch sittings, mainly watching Fringe episodes! Not totally satisfied with the outcome, but I guess it's time to move on to something new. Used photo reference but I played a lot with the colors, the original picture had a very white-overexposed look to it.
As always, 90% Procreate, 10% misc image apps all on the Ipad.
