These vines were draping over one of the shorter buildings all yellowish gold in colour.

a close up of experimenting with the concept for my eventual Advanced Draping final.

You can really see how I had to sort of evolve the concept when I moved from the crinoline used here to the organza in my final project. I miss the nice crisp overlays I could achieve with the crinoline, but this is also the smallest scale I was able to work with, and I think the skeletal effect it achieves on a smaller scale is more effective.

An unfinished pillowsham draped over a pillow; pictured with my pinstripe duvet and Parisian-fashion lapquilt. The quilt was made for me by a friend for Christmas last year, and it has in large part been the inspiration for my redecorating.
