Another panorama of the storm that rolled in during the sunset, shot from a different location just down the road.
I was planning on shooting the western sky, but the wind was coming from the west and it was bringing some rain with it. Luckily the sky to the east looked awesome too, so I shot that direction while trying to shield my camera from the rain with my body.
I'm really not sure about this one, but I am sure it will divide opinion....no trickery here I promise, the clouds really were that dramatic! Honest opinions please ;o)
Portrait Testing for Lighting & Materials. Using a beauty dish with grid to direct the light to the face and a second light for light the background and seperate it.

ex-Southern Railway West Country class, 34046 "Braunton" puts in a rather dramatic performance as they climb toward Shap summit with "The Lakelander" 09/04/2022
This dramatic mountain range has rock climbing, canyoning, and off-road exploration. In addition to outdoor activities, there are numerous sights of historic, cultural, and geological interest.
Temperatures in the higher elevations tend to be on average 10-15°C cooler than cities in the valley, and snow, although very rare, is not unknown. In summer the mountains offer a retreat for those looking to escape the heat baking the rest of the Arabian peninsula.

Spectacular scene at sunset this evening. Had no clouds most of the day until some altocumulus moved in during the late afternoon which set up some colorful skies. Got some really nice photos. Was difficult to pick which shot to post for the cloud album but thought I would use something different.
I normally shoot a lot of wide angles during sunsets, as I did for this one. But I also wanted a close up of the clouds blowing up with color. Had shades of orange, red and purple at some point. So I zoomed in and inserted the pole to give a dramatic look. Think this is my favorite of the project so far.

Gorgeous Sea Ray Crosses Stunning Sunset Tampa Bay Florida At Dramatic Time In History 2016 - IMRANâ„¢
It was the fifth of November in 2016 when the world had not yet gone totally crazy. Dark clouds of threats to democracy in America had already formed, but the glowing sun fading away for a long dark night was still holding forth hope for the return of brighter days. The next four years would definitely show how fragile the daylight of democracy is even in the United States.
A gorgeous Sea Ray SunDancer from my neighborhood was passing my dock when I captured this iPhone video. It is amazing how deeply grey the waters looked in this unedited video.
The iPhone I had in 2016 obviously did not have the same camera as the current model does, but the colors, despite the stark contrasts, are so beautifully captured in high dynamic range without any tweaking by me.
