My first flight out of Pittsburgh to West Palm Beach was cancelled due to the plane leaking oil so I was re-rerouted through Philly where I had a 5 hour layover.
The long layover was made tolerable by the fact that I found a bar with 48 beers on draft. This guy was my drinking buddy for the afternoon.
This gorgeous door latch and leather draft excluder. Looks like it was stuffed with straw or some kind of fibre. Or even horsehair maybe?

The drafting room of Frank Lloyd Wright's 1898 studio complex in Oak Park, a 23-foot-tall, light-filled space in the shape of an octagon. Many important figures in Prairie School architecture, such as Walter Burley Griffin, worked here. A unique structural system of chains and pulleys in tension holds up a second-floor balcony ring, as well as holding the exterior walls up.
I love my mom. I've really gotten into architecture lately, and I found it really cool that I can start doing some of the stuff I enjoy at school as well as at home. Also, if you're reading this description, you should also know that I'll draw you a house design, quick and easy, if you provide a good enough incentive. What's the incentive you say? You decide.
Made this draft dodger for the door between my art room and my daughter's room. The gap was about 2" and when she has guests you can hear everything (whether you want to or not!). We both agreed to use some pinkish purple plush fabric. : ) Note: The damage was from my dad's wheelchair... just in case you were curious... ; )

Hello all! I put this collection together while digging through my camera archives. Looking at these photos took me on a bitter sweet trip down memory lane, and while many are straight from my Canon 60D, I wanted to sprinkle in my iPhone shots that capture the excitement, passion, and ambition of these moments with some of the people I’m most grateful for... enjoy and have a wonderful day!
Earliest draft I still have for the tattoo design. I always intended the brown line here to be drawn as a vine - I just couldn't make it look like that in this draft that I drew with the Celtic Knot font from www.clanbadge.com/ .
I'm not sure exactly when I did this draft - it's dated May 2005 on my computer so some time earlier than that!
Ya know, some things in life just don't mix. Oil and water, stripes & polka dots and in American politics, how about Evangelicals and Democrats?' Good luck finding one of those, right? Well, the fact is - they do exist. And we have proof. Tony Campolo. He's been a Baptist minister for about 30 years, was the spiritual advisor to President Bill Clinton and most recently, he helped draft Barack Obama's campaign platform. A self proclaimed evangelical Christian - who leans to the political left. He's anti war, pro environment, supports gay rights and equality for women. Oh, and he thinks we should all help the poor too. Check out what else he's got to say about the religious right & left here - www.cbc.ca/thehour/videos.html?id=875564353
