One creative advantage with the Yashica-D is, that it is very easy to make double exposures. Almost too easy because the film advance and the shutter cocker are operated seperatly. Therefor making accidental double exposures is always a risk, if you can't remember whether or not you advanced the film.
Ina and I were at the mall a few days ago, and out of the blue she suggests we get second piercings.
So we did.

Creative assignment #5 was to make a double exposure with our 4x5 View Camera. I chose to do a triple exposure on this one. Unfortunately I had a ton of ideas that I wasn't able to shoo because of time problems. Maybe next time. I decided to take a trip to my past. This is a scan of my 4x5 transparency.
West Australian Pitcher Plant (Cephalotus follicularis) is a carnivorous plant native to Australia. Usually, each pitcher has its own lid. The two pitchers on the left in this photo share a lid. I have never seen this before. However, I am not an expert so maybe it is not that rare. Does anybody know if this is common for this plant?
The 49,622 dwt chemical tanker ‘Bow Tribute’ is currently berthed in the dry dock of International Ship Repair & Marine Services at Channelside, Tampa. Registered in Bergen, Norway, she forms part of the 80-strong fleet of Odfjell SE, whose vessels are recognisable by their orange hills.
I have happy memories of liaising with Odfjell during my working life, as part of my job to monitor and report on the transportation of phosphoric acid, as produced by the international phosphate fertilizer industry. Not only did Odfjell advertise in our publications, but I was also a guest at events Odfjell hosted.

Double Arch has a 100 angles you can shoot. I tried to take one I had never seen by scaling up one of the walls inside the arches.
