This is the double board - just completed. It was originally designed for an art project called "double rainbow" that may someday be installed at a mall in Montréal or at Burning Man. For now, I'm doing a smaller project using some of the same hardware - see my blog for where you can see it in the coming weeks.
Taken from my apartment in Boston with 50mm F/1.4 and stacked from 315 frames (31.5 minutes of total exposure) with 20 dark and 100 bias frames. The photos were taken intentionally slightly out of focus to show colors better.

A double magnum (3 Liters) of Silver Palm Cabernet Sauvignon and a Waterford wine glass. Lit using a double diffused SB-600; shot through a umbrella and then shaped with a PVC frame of rip stop nylon. Flash was placed to camera left and triggered by on camera flash in commander mode.
Double headed class 66s right by the hotel, Despite the line being almost constantly busy we did manage to get to sleep, the wine helped though.
Stunt double rehearsing a scene from the Wachowski siblings movie Jupiter Ascending. Between Wacker and South Water Street on Michigan Avenue. I assume he is the stunt double for Channing Tatum.

Left it a few months to see if the Cottage Double Fillet burger resulted in death. It seems to be fine, so I'm back for another!
We see the Double-crested Cormorant commonly in coastal waters, but it is equally at home on inland lakes and rivers. This one at Lake Solano, California. Have removed some distracting branches in post-processing.

This trellis featured the double wisteria flower.
We had a wonderful day at the Ashikaga Flower Park. The park is known for its beautiful wisteria trees and trellises. Optimal blooming season is from mid-April to mid-May, so our timing was just perfect.
Taken right around sundown. Road was empty and the sky was great so I set the camera down for a shot and it turned out pretty cool. Best viewed large.
