Doodling done during a work meeting. If they are meant to say something about the psyche, what do these say, apart from "I'm a bit bored" ?

This is just before he decided to roll all over, flashing the hugest grin. He knew we thought he was cute, and decided to work the room.
Don't they look alike. They both have the most wonderful smiles, and incredible sense of joy. Jack is my ex employers husband, and as it turns out he and I went to high school together, didn't re-meet until I started working for his wife.

Teenage doodle that got coloured in somewhere along the line. I was evidently ready too much science fiction and fantasy when I drew this!
doodles are easy, comfortable - while this art thought a day has been very good for me, I need to push further beyond what just comes out in scribbles. I got a pile of printing plates out yesterday, still wrapped in brown paper with cardboard inserts to keep them from getting scratched. That was the problem, I wasn't ready to scratch them, much less paint on them with tar and litho-crayon and soak them in mortar mix. I don't think a print a day is realistic, for several reasons, 1. it often takes me weeks to finish a plate.. (I stop and change directions) I'll run a series of proofs, a proof or mono-type might be possible for a month or so. Then I'll be out of paper. That is a good thing.. Probably need to move from this site. Can't stand white backgrounds. Why does google and flickr and too many others use white as the default bd ? Well not going to figure it out today, got to get dressed and out the door today. But, I'll think about it :) later self ( always feels like I'm writing these blurbs to myself).

I wanted to paint yesterday :( instead, I did what a busy person does, doodled on a digital device. It's just not the same. Mindless fun, but not the right stuff for me. Need to get into the clay or ink or paint soon I hope.
I did this when I was supposed to have been working @ my regular job....
