i thought i'd upload some of my artwork from way back when. unfortunately a lot of them have some water damage.
from the doodle archive. it's my favorite paragraph in my favorite book:
"Crawling at your feet," said the Gnat (Alice drew her feet back in some alarm), "you may observe a Bread-and-butter-fly. Its wings are thin slices of bread-and-butter, its body is a crust, and its head is a lump of sugar."
"And what does it live on?"
"Weak tea with cream in it."
A new difficulty came into Alice's head. "S upposing it couldn't find any?" she suggested.
"Then it would die, of course."
"But that must happen very often," Alice remarked thoughtfully.
"It always happens," said the Gnat.
Didn't like this at first but it kept growing on me. Still not sure of it. Kind of wish I didn't chop off his head but this little kid does not stop moving. Ever. Even in his sleep he moves!
By the way this is the very friendly neighbor pup Baxter the "aussie-doodle". He comes over almost daily to get a treat & steal a stuff animal. Gotta love him.
Used the Tiffany Doodles Butterfly image, printed out on pp. "Quilted" the background using pp cut in triangles.
Part of the Doodles for Charity series: for do-gooder Manda_X who frequently reports on the current scent of Detroit, Michigan, USA.
Soooo. I took my favorite lyric of every Ingrid Michaelson song, typed them up, doodled with awful, waxy crayons on a piece of paper and then printed the lyrics on it. This was the result.
My intentions, once again, were much better. Nothing ever comes out the way I want it to.
Uploading of these doodles are not in order. I haven't uploaded doodles from the last few days... :-p
