You could say I had a lucky day with some Shorties today. I took a gamble on low ISO, low shutter speed.... ISO 250 and 1/320th sec... handheld with the RF600/f4. I rarely use a monopod or tripod now unless shooting video with manual focus.
I’m going to be working away for most of the next 5 weeks so had to make today count…
It was a 6am start and first time I've had to scrape my windscreen this year... then a very patient wait on the marshes and surprised to see that I was the only person around for most of the day. I remained until the bitter end of the light, because... well, why not! Still made it in time for sausage roll, coffee and cake out! :)

We were exploring a little village whose name I forget now when we saw this gushing water and a long low building, really no more than a roof built on the ground. We were puzzled as to what this could be and Anita wondered if the water was cold. It was.
A bit later the owner of the little "Mom and Pop" store told us it was a spring and that people came from all over to get water from it. I was happy to learn it Was a spring and not... you know something to do with sewage~ LOL
