VILA NOVA DE GAIA (Portugal): Estaleiro do Rabelo.
Situado na margem ribeirinha de Gaia, o estaleiro da Socrenaval mantém viva uma indústria única e uma profissão em vias de extinção: a carpintaria naval. A Câmara de Gaia considera-o parte do património do concelho e está a preparar a candidatura a Património Mundial.
O boom turístico aumentou significativamente o volume de trabalho do estaleiro, que nos anos 1980 esteve em vias de desaparecer. Nas duas últimas décadas, construíram mais de uma dúzia de embarcações. Já antes tinham feito o primeiro barco rabelo adaptado ao turismo. Para reparar, passam por lá, todos os anos, cerca de 50 barcos. "O turismo é muito importante para o nosso trabalho e não podemos aceitar mais embarcações porque as de turismo consomem-nos o tempo todo", confessa António Sousa, proprietário da Socrenaval. Mas manter o estaleiro vivo é, acima de tudo, "uma questão de paixão".

We spent most of the day in our son's home because a plumber was coming to mend his broken boiler and he had to be in work. This is a grab shot of his dog cwtching in inside his blanket after being taken for a walk. So amusing to watch him do this.

O Estádio Engenhão em dia de festa.
Tudo muito bom, mas tem uma coisa que não presta no estádio. É ser alugado para o Bostafogo. Mas poderia ser pior e ser alugado pelo FlaMerda ou a Fluminina. Todos sem estádio. Na verdade os SEM TETO.
Estádio próprio no Rio só o do Vasco.
Na verdade não só a Zona Norte, mas também a Zona Sul, Centro e principalmente a Zona Oeste terão eventos esportivos na Olimpíada.
Somente a Zona da Leopoldina onde ficam os bairros da Penha, Olaria, Ramos, Braz de Pina, Vigário Geral e outros não terão jogos.

You've probably done it too. You see some massive drainage pipes laid out along the road, all rusty and primitive-looking, and you stop and pull out the camera and go noodling about in the muck and old weeds looking for an original shot, which doesn't exist anymore and probably hasn't existed since the week after the creation of massive drainage pipe, and you expose a few frames because you're there and why not, but in the end all you've got is another derivative photo that's about as graceful and pointless as a sentence that never seems to end.
