This was the first dock dogs competition I had the honour of seeing...had fun taking photos.
Challenged with getting these dogs in focus...especially since my camera has a VERY slow focus time. Found my best results with manual focus, and pre 'guessing' how far away I thought the dogs might be...lol.

This dock near Nes church is empty, with all the boats in dry dock for the winter. The lake in the background is still open, but with frost smoke on the water.

I call this picture "Docks and Ducks" but its wrong on both counts. There's only one dock and those are Canada geese flying. But "Dock and Geese" doesn't sound as good plus "Docks and Ducks" sounds like a cool lakeside bar name... I need a drink.

The abandoned Docks in Govan, Glasgow. However, this was one of the main docks during Glasgow’s industrial days but has fallen into disarray after the post-industrial decline of shipbuilding on the Clyde. It was also the site of the Glasgow Garden Festival in 1988 but ultimately failed to transpire the area permanently.
Devonshire Dock, North Shore Road, Devonshire Parish. I have an old tablemat showing much this view, one of a set of 4, which gives the cottage the name "Salthaven", although I wasn't able to find that name on site today....
This Dock Spider was at least 2 inches (50 mm) in diameter and found on the carpet deep in the hull of a boat at a cottage near Coe Hill, Ontario.

Colinsville Riverland Railway Company - H0 and n30 scales, loosely based and inspired by railway and tramway operations around Australian in the early 20th Century. The layout belongs to Coli Konig. The layout features features many small but fascinating details all around the area and a considerable amount of time can be spent observing everything on the layout.
