Btw, to see the power of post-processing, compare the processed version to the original. :P
Lake Shumway at Savannah Portage State Park, Minnesota. This was shot in near darkness requiring a 30 sec exposure. An Orton Effect treatment was supplied which yields the dreamy colors.

The old dock had an outer basin, now to become the marina, this was the floodgate for the outer basin cut down and left in place.
This is a photo of a dock on San Francisco Bay (like the Otis Redding song). It was taken on Harbor Bay/Alameda.
This morning, I got a call from the local weatherman, Joel Bartlette, on ABC/KGO (ch7) and they will be showing my photograph of Alameda on the morning news, Monday June 12th 6:48AM.
Isn't that cool? :-)

What started out being a really dumb mistake ended up with some really cool looking images.
I took a long photowalk this afternoon down to Lake Harriet with my Holga and Kodak Brownie. After finishing off the Holga, I opened it up and took the film out, then realizing that 120 film really doesn't have that much protecting it. So after getting home and developing it, i had a lot of faded light leaked photos. But as I started scanning, I enjoyed them a whole lot.
Taken with Holga 120S, Kodak TMax 100
Susanne and Mario Simmen were the first passengers arriving at the new Dock B. They flew in on flight LX 289 from Johannesburg and were welcomed by SWISS, the airport and local journalists.

Taken from roughly where "Makro" now stands with the Lord Line building just visible in the far distance, Clive Sullivan Way and the former Dairycoates engine shed to the left.
One strand of EL wired doesn't do it for me... I need more for a light suit! Haha I had fun shooting on the dock with a near full moon. I'm going out again tonight so hopefully the clouds hold back and give me some solid moon light.

After the demise of Antwerp Shiprepair, the new Antwerp Dry Docks is investing in a complete renewal of the buildings on the site . This is a view of the old workshop just before the demolition started
Most WDW fans do not venture outside of the parks. Shame, since beautiful Lake Apopka is just north! Green Mountain Scenic Byway and the West Orange Trail as well!
Another angle of the docking ring with a nice peek into the main dock itself.
Thank God for Letrapens! :D
The canal, which was completed in 1826, leads into Glasson Basin. This covers twelve acres and could accommodate seagoing vessels of 200 tons. The basin now shelters ocean-going yachts and is used for wind surfing. Glasson Dock, as part of the Port of Lancaster, was opened in 1787. Grain and timber were the main imports and coal to Ireland was the main export. The opening of Preston Dock in 1892 brought Glasson's period of greatness to an end and it has settled down to the quiet place it is today, although it still serves coasters from Britain and abroad. There are many delightful walks near the Lune Estuary and those to nearby Cockerham Sands Abbey to the south, and the 4-mile footpath walk along the Lune Estuary to Lancaster should not be missed. Glasson Village includes pubs and shops and is built around the dock.
Gothenburg docks on a March day.
We went to Gothenburg for a business trip and in a weeks time we had only one day with some proper free time.
That day I took about 300 photos.
It's also funny to think how they had so springy feeling there and no snow at all, almost 1,5 months before. This week it's been snowing like crazy here in Finland, no springtime anywhere. Gothenburg isn't that much more south afterall.
