Snowy had some great stories, he died shortly after the dispute finnished.

A docker cuts slits in the bottom of the liner bag and as the rice pours out, he removes the retaining carton wall that is held in place with aluminium brackets.

The rice falls through the grid straight onto a conveyor belt which loads it into an inland waterways vessel.

The container is on a tiltframe that will lift one side of the container up to get the last of the rice out of the liner bag.

Small bags of "silica gel" (in front of the docker's left foot) are also in the container to keep the moisture of the rice under control but these bags are retained by the grid.

Back at Berkswell Station after a look round Balsall Common.

On Sunday's the stopping trains are once an hour.

Berkswell railway station, in the West Midlands of England, takes its name from the nearby village of Berkswell although it is located much closer to the small town of Balsall Common. The station originally opened as Docker's Lane, changed to Berkswell on 1 January 1853, then to Berkswell & Balsall Common on 1 February 1928 before reverting to Berkswell again. It is situated on the West Coast Main Line between Coventry and Birmingham. The station and all trains serving it are operated by West Midlands Trains, while Virgin Trains pass through the station without stopping. There are small lakes and a river on the Eastern side of the railway station.

In 2004, as part of a plan to upgrade the line to carry more high speed trains, the level crossing situated to the east of the station was removed and two small low parallel tunnels were built under the railway, one for road traffic and the other for pedestrians. The road tunnel, being too narrow for two-way traffic, is controlled by traffic lights. The level crossings at Tile Hill and Canley were also removed in the upgrade.

Berkswell was once the junction with a line that ran to Kenilworth, which opened on 2 March 1884 and closed to all traffic on 3 March 1969. The trackbed of this line is gradually being converted into a "Greenway" for walking, cycling, and horse-riding. The route for the proposed High Speed 2 line will lie broadly parallel to this greenway, then necessitating its realignment through and north-west of the village of Burton Green. A length of track of the Kenilworth line survives as a siding. It was occasionally used for stabling the Royal Train.

Bronze sculpture of a dock worker by Belgian artist Constantin Meunier (1831-1905). This statue is from 1890 and one of a series to honour the working masses. Make a note of the name, and if you are ever asked "What did the Belgians ever do for us?", here is your answer. Meunier was featured on the Belgian 500 franc note from 1982-1998.

Perth Stadium located in Burswood adjacent to the Swan River, Armadale railway line and Graham Farmer Freeway. It is the main venue for AFL football replacing Subiaco Oval as the home ground of the West Coast Eagles and Fremantle Dockers for the 2018 season. It is also the venue for large-drawing cricket matches what were previously played at the nearby WACA ground. Under a sponsorship arrangement it is currently known as Optus Stadium.

The stadium seats around 60,000 spectators as an oval with the ability to be reconfigured for for a rectangular field with a capacity of 65,000. The development of the Burswood stadium was chosen over a potential redevelopment of Subiaco to a similar capacity ground in mid 2011 - the previous plan was the build in Kitchener Park and demolish the existing Subiaco Oval until theconcept was abandoned in early 2009. The Burswood site selection was made due to its lack of development constraints and the presence of the railway line enabling a large station and sidings to be constructed.

The stadium site was previously part of Burswood Park Public Golf Course which closed and the site was split between the stadium and an adjacent hotel development servicing nearby Crown Casino. Decades prior to that the stadium site was Goodwood Racecourse - located alongside current Belmont Park Racecourse both were privately developed before being taken over by the Western Australian Turf Club in 1945 and Goodwood was subsequently closed.

Limerick City Council commissioned a work of public art to commemorate in a permanent way the contribution the Limerick Dockers made to the cultural and economic life of the city. The commission was administered in two stages and the first call for expression of interest elicited thirty eight responses. From these thirty eight responses, Limerick City Council invited 9 artists to submit a more detailed idea of their proposal.

It is fitting that Limerick born artist Michael Duhan was selected to make a permanent tribute to the Limerick Dockers, as his father was a docker and worked on ships. The dockers performed one of the most difficult and challenging ways to earn a living in the City. This life size bronze sculpture reflects with honesty and integrity the physical work and the camaraderie that existed between the Dockers.
