Taken with the in-game SLR camera available in Tearaway.

This is on the Dock Road , Liverpool , and was obviously intended to be used by thirsty dockers in Liverpool's heyday . I imagine that they were probably more impressed by the nearby pubs !

Accurate forecast for a nice morning, but cloudy afternoon. Had originally planned to visit the Newcastle line but, on discovering the empty logs were going up the WCML, I was not turning-down the opportunity to make amends for my incompetent photography last week.

 

So I went to Docker - I'm not going to bore you with endless "Pendolino" and "Nova 2" shots and just cut to the chase with 88007 "Electra" heading north over Docker Viaduct with train 4S43, the 06.24 Daventry - Mossend Euroterminal TESCO.

Now, back in Ireland, you could go for weeks - even months - without meeting another "spotter". Here - you turn-up for a special - and a legion of "spotters" arrive within minutes!

 

A small part of the gallery waiting for D1944 and the Crewe - Fort William charter. There were up to 30 by the time it arrived - I expect the farmer was delighted and perhaps I will give this location a lengthy rest until his temper has cooled.
