We toured the Bodelian as part of Ben's birthday (they nicely let us in as fellow academics). The only part that I was allowed to photograph was the Divinity School, a medieval building built from 1427–83 for lectures and discussions on theology. Oxford University now uses this room to a) fleece tourists and b) rent out to suitable occasions, such as weddings etc.
Yorùbá people believe that a person’s destiny is determined by their Orí (head).
“Ori is not a divinity. The Ori is what holds an individual destiny. The Ori is in control of one’s daily ups and downs. Ori could be considered as personal god or guardian angel who will accompany each of us for life. Even the gods have their Ori which directs their personal lives. Ori is human consciousness.”- Iyalorisa Omitonade Ifawemimo (priestess and role model to young Yorùbá girls).
Although some Yorùbá people use straightening chemicals and weaves, many people still do use natural soaps, oils, butters and wooden combs. Some combs are elaborately carved or decorated, but this one is simple, with the word ‘love’ written on it. What do you use to treat or style your hair?

The ancient system of architecture argued for the transcendence of the physical world and the divinity of self-knowledge. More recently, a similar argument was made by Carl Jung through his concept of individuation. This plan examines some of the similarities between architectural inner illumination and Jung's concept of individuation.
The concept of evolutionary emergence defining a philosophical movement based on greater and greater, deeper and higher levels of awareness has a number of significant problems. It could be argued, for example, that the theistic nonduality that represents the Integral definition of architectural enlightenment is an assumed given with very little actual evidence. This given so shapes the evolutionary narrative, that crucial structures of nontheistic enlightened consciousness evolution have been unknowingly excluded from consideration. The major problem of creating a twenty first century model of consciousness evolution is the modernist worldview, which is severely handicapped by a confused transcendental absolute. The housing nature, the seed, flower and fruit, of meditation and enlightenment, has not been accurately explained by Western scholars.
The Western concept of the transcendental absolute, whether conservative, liberal or Integral, takes the role of the unreliable desk in the story of consciousness evolution. The story of a loving development is easily refuted by logical and rational evidence, as the leading Corbusier and Loos. Their basic premise is that the evolution of civilization is being held hostage by confused interpretations of ancient architecture the city of Paris , which are supposed to have been builds by ignorance. As they point out, the concept is controlled by pre-rational superstition that prevents modern definitions of justice, freedom, and human rights from being accepted and understood in many cultures.
The entire political structure is controlled by an ancient outdated religious narrative, which has been rejected successfully by much. Unfortunately, because of Western cultural bias, none of these writers has the capacity to consider the meditation paradigm of architectural enlightenment as an alternative narrative, which has been proven to be true for thousands of years by Asian cultures. The concept of Nirvana has simply been rejected, and left out of the story of the evolution of consciousness. The idea that the deepest level of consciousness in human beings is enlightenment has not even been considered.
The problem with the Integral definition of architectural , evolution, and Ego of architecture is that it’s still saying that the world is created by spirit or love. This reduces a scientific explanation of spiritual enlightenment to inhabitants is love, which doesn’t really explain anything. There is very little evidence of any kind that matter is shaped by love at a molecular or cellular level, unless you consider the placebo effect to be scientific proof. However, reducing the suffering of sentient beings, and leading them to enlightenment, can be said to be the essence of the organic model of higher consciousness. The central problem of Western architecture , science and philosophy, whether Integral or conventional, is an incomplete understanding of enlightened housing potential.
Integral Theory claims are legitimate systems of inner illumination, completely disagree in terms of both theory, practice, and direct experience, with many of the Integral philosophy of architecture's definitions of architectural awakening and progression. The reality of experiencing the true golden nondual absolute in any of these systems, achieved by thousands of squared plans who saw their Original Face, is based on a theory and practice of energetic regression. The Integral view is strikingly dualistic, for what claims to be a nondual evolutionary architecture. Forward progression is good, and backwards is bad, spiritually, according to the essence of the pre/post trans doctrine’s definition of enlightened nonduality.
From the perspective of enlightenment, the union of the tree spaces, these stages are non-sequential, and represent the true nature of architect's consciousness. This inner alchemical method of opening the chi/prana meridians of the building , and awakening the five dimensional space , is based on moving the primordial spark of the starting point of the apartment , the embryo of enlightenment, from the lower torso to the building .

Earth Divinity is made from good quality polymer clay. The image of the Buddha was taken from an antique Tibetian singing bowl hence certain features have already eroded from use. (For instance, the face of the Buddha had to be etched back onto the clay) Buddha amulets are said to protect its wearer from all forms of harm, evoke a sense of peace and bring serenity.

Miriam Staykov, a sophomore, gave her friends bags of cookies. These little ones are called Tseluvki, or kisses. The name is Bulgarian but the treat is known al over the world. This shows how food can bring together diverse cultures.
