Walking along Dufour Beach in Martinique this pelican keep on diving repeatedly finally catching a fish along a beautiful cove where there’s an abundant amount of sealife. Great place for snorkeling and diving !

Summer action continues in this photo of a Belted Kingfisher diving into the pond in search of small fish. It is 98% crop. Markham, Ontario.

There are times that moving in so close to a flower, you lose sight of the over-all beauty of the thing. However, by diving into the center of this rhododendron flower, I discovered a whole new world.

Mark Swan's bronze sculpture "Diva" at the Royal Horticultural Society Wisley Gardens in Surrey. There are plenty of sculptures in this vast area, and this one in particular, facing a pond and surrounded by benches where people can sit down and relax, produces an element of playfulness. Playfulness is important for horticulture which, at the RHS Wisley, people are a dead serious about.
