I wondered if the seam implied there would be a weakness across the middle of the egg. I held it across the middle and broke it in half, and it broke sorta neatly right along the seam.

As part of the education that they do in the Giant Heart Exhibit, this gentleman is teaching these children about the eye, while dissecting, I believe, a cows eye. Some kids are very into it, and some are to grossed out to watch. My daughter was to grossed out to watch.

After a sagittal cut was made. I don't really know how to point out individual structures. Um, the sort of off-white curved bit is the epiglottis. The dark purple-red strip at the top of the actual windpipe is the cricothyroid muscle... I believe the curved white bony looking thing is the hyoid bone. I am really bad at remembering and recognising anatomical structures...
