Two men join the Salford Pals in the First World War and form an unlikely friendship. Before they head off to war they experience fun, laughter and love. The story contrasts life at the front and experiences in the 1916 Battle of the Somme with the women left behind in Salford. The Story not only focuses on the men fighting, but on the relationships between them and the women left behind and the women's viewpoints and struggles as they adjust to life without their partners.
The play is based on true events and is dedicated to the 24 officers and 650 men from the 1st Salford Pals who fought at the battle of the Somme. Within 30 minutes 21 officers and 449 men became casualties.
A percentage of all tickets sales will be donated to the British Legion charity.

The hilarious tale of young love — and preposterous deception!
In this classic British comedy, two Oxford University undergraduates are desperate to arrange a double date with their girlfriends. Jack Chesney is in love with Kitty Verdun and his pal, Charley Wykeham, is in love with Amy Spettigue. Problem is, it’s 1892 — and no proper Victorian-era woman will accept a luncheon invitation from a young man unless a proper chaperone will also be invited.

Alright, you can do a couple of things with HC-110 to develop film without timers. You can do 1+31 for six minutes flat; you can also stand develop using 1+150. Instead, I used 1+90 and an 18-minute time. The negatives ended up being super foggy, but there were images. The results were okay, considering everything.

Demonstrators form a sit down protest on Westminster bridge to stop the police van from leaving.
Finding myself on the outside of the scrum I decided to take Street Photography of others chilling in the middle of one of Londons busiest thoroughfares! Camera struggled with the light conditions.

As part of Interstate 80 and the direct road between San Francisco and Oakland, it carries about 260,000 vehicles a day on its two decks. It has one of the longest spans in the United States)
Day Six.
Last day!! Shame but still a long way to go to get back to the bike shop in San Francisco!
After a re pack of the bike and a very good breakfast at the very nice Best Western Station House Inn where we stayed, we had a quick photo or two looking down Park Lane and then headed off on the bike down to a local beach for some more amazing pictures before hitting the road proper!
The beach area was next to the pier on Balbijou Road and was amazing! It was like being by the sea but we were next to a lake – a big lake!

Leaving the beach area we had a quick fuel up and then hit the road and over some mountains using the Highway 50 until nearly at Sacramento then turned left onto Highway 99 to take us to Elk Grove where we stopped to visit a Pumpkin Festival, not just any pumpkin festival – but a very famous ‘Giant Pumpkin Festival’! We had a couple of hours there, took lots of pictures, had lunch and then set off again along Highway 99, then the 12, 4, 242, 24 and back on to the 80 to cross the lovely but very busy Bay Bridge back into the city of San Francisco (got some great GoPro screen shots going over the bridge) and to the Eagle Rider garage to drop bike back. We had to stop and ring as we were running a bit late due to the traffic!
Sadly it was over! The bike was returned and a taxi summoned to get us back to our hotel overlooking the city!
What a trip! Superb, will have to do something like that again!

Pentax SF1 Kodak Direct Positive 5246 Panchromatic Rodinal Stand. I thought I had rewound the film but it got hung up on a piece of tape. When I opened the back I exposed most of the film. Apparently some of it was okay and I was able to salvage a few shots. This stuff expired in 1968!
