After going for a root canal Friday and not being able to eat anything but pudding, oatmeal and other soft foods till Monday – I am craving gooey chocolate cupcakes – maybe with some caramel and nuts in them (ohh, turtle cupcakes) – WOW – drooling at the thought!
As you can tell – I am hungry and also a sugar addict so the thought of something like double chunk chocolate chip cookies – well, I would probably kill for them right about now!
Lis and I decided we would do this dippy in lieu of actually making and eating any of them – talk about self control – well, at least till I can chew again!!!

It's been way too long since I have visited flickr, I miss you all soooo much. I have been crazy busy with sessions and blogging. I hope to spend the next few days catching up on all your beautiful streams. Hope you are all having a wonderful summer.
so we recently had this huge tree in our front yard cut down, and our yard looks a little empty now as a result. The stump did make an interesting prop, though, which I promptly took advantage of. The shot on the right was taken at the same time as this one

This use to be 3 different shirts that now make a dress. Asia wears this quite often.I love it on her & her titi just bought her that headband too. Which I thought looked perfect with this dress.
Have you ever had a photo session that was just a blast and you were so happy with the results... well this was one of them! Most likely because she is finally at an age where she wants her picture's taken..lol! I've been her photographer since she was teeny tiny, a lot of tears, I don't want to, you know how it goes!!! well not this time, what a JOY she was and is!!! I think I will be posting a lot from her session, :)

Well, thankfully we decided to work on our dippy a little earlier in the week since today is Easter and all. Little did we know what Lis would have to go through on Fri. having to let her sweet Kuma go over rainbow bridge so unexpectedly – and how she would be feeling this weekend. That kind of heartache just wipes out any inspiration. On that note, I will be posting our dippys on Sun. from now on, as she is going to be concentrating on other projects.
Ok, back to the pic - when she was a kid – I made ALL her clothes and would make matching clothes for her dolls to wear. It’s no wonder she has an obsession with fabric, buttons, yarn etc. She would sit with me for hours and divide the buttons into piles by color, then size – and fold the leftover fabric into piles for herself to use to make pillows and blankets for her stuffed animals.
So, this is a very meaningful dippy to us – and that’s what we try to do each week – something that matters to both of us.

I counted at least a dozen red damselflies around our small garden pond today, amazing what a rare bit of warm sunshine can do!
Took several more photos of them which I will post over the next week or so.
I liked this one a lot better than the other one in the dippy so I'm posting it by itself. HBW again!
It's very hot today. I want to be somewhere at the seaside, but have to stay in the airless city. So I'm waiting for the weekend to go to the country where there is a lake.

For NOW, however, it's breakfast for dinner and some good cuddles, some quality time with the 52" watching a movie. *big grin* and uh...gotta go...I hear turmoil in the kitchen....HAHA...............

I wanted to do a dippy with a flare in it but none of the new things I shot matched the upper part of this photo so yeah, the bottom part, another from teh archives.
Kids and hubby had the day off yesterday, it's a fairly new holiday in February called family day... how awesome is that, they should have that holiday once a month I think, tee hee hee! I baked some cookies for the boys, they are all gone btw, nothing lasts too long with four boys in the house. Thought I would share the awesome recipe with you!

Didn't have time to shoot anything new again. Rain drops were taken earlier this month. The shot of our garden wall was taken last year.

My mom is celebrating her 62nd birthday this weekend, I did a birthday session to celebrate, so many fun images, looking forward to sharing more....
We had a basket of peaches and I could not resist doing a mini session with them and Reece, he is such a character and half....
