A home-made wholemeal soldier with plenty of butter and Marmite. The visible vertical extent of the image is about 2.5 inches.
Okay.... so I didn't get to go anywhere yesterday :(... but what I did do was a session with Cassandra, she is so awesome! I had this vision for the longest time of taking a picture of a person on the train bridge that is right outside my house from the ice looking up! and with the weather warming up I knew I'd better do it now or never. Of course as soon as we were ready to go there was a train ha ha, so I took the opportunity to take some photo's with an actual train... Not showing in this photo on the right is my house and when I am sitting in the studio working my view is of this amazing train bridge. I will share some of those with you all tomorrow...

I know this kind of dippy is kinda your usual but yeah. I like how the bokeh discs are lined up like the tip of the pointy cloud. This is prolly my first cloud-y photo.

26 metre Diplodocus dinosaur cast on display in the magnificent nave of Norwich cathedral on loan from the Natural History museum, London. The long neck reaches high into the splendid vaulted ceiling complete with unique medieval roof bosses. The cathedral is over 900 years old but the diplodocus would have roamed on earth over 150 million years ago !
we bought some 5in1 reflectors a couple of weeks ago and did'nt really have a chance to try them out.. so this afternoon I used G as my model and my uncle was holding the reflector for me; I tried with my other hand/leg but it was too windy!

The 26 metre-long (83 feet) Diplodocus (D. carnegii) cast was a gift to the British Natural History Museum (formerly part of London's British Museum) from Edward VII in May 1905 and dominates the main hall and entrance. Parts were replaced/repaired in 2004.
Diplodocus is one of the more famous dinosaur species, in part for the popular fossil skeletons (/casts) which can be seen here and in many other museums worldwide. They lived 147-150 million years ago in what is now the NW Americas.
Taken with a Nikon D40 fitted with a Nikkor AFS DX 18-55mm F/3.5-5.6G II lens. Curves adjusted with Google Picasa.

The Diplodocus skeleton, "Dippy" is on display at the Natural History Museum after a 5 year tour around the UK. It was dark in the room and fun to test out the high ISO noise of the Z7II and the ICIS.

After a hard days work yesterday in a not so pleasant temperature, when you have to work, we had a lovely brunch today with our friends and their little angels and after the brunch we took a dippy in the pool..ehm we..uhm max decided to take a dip in the pool with the kids..Marlies took alot of gorgious pics of Sofia and Olivier.don't you think they look like little waterrats? Hope you al had a great easter weekend..tomorrow work again and than busy with painting the house and re building our new kitchen so see you all on the flipside dudes and dudetjes :P
I thought I'd make a dippy with my glass ball shots - it's the same tree four months apart. I had to flip the B&W one as it was the other way up when I originally posted it.

The Natural History Museum's famous dinosaur, Dippy the Diplodocus is touring the UK, and Rochdale has been selected as 1 of just 8 venues which will host him during the tour.
The iconic exhibit started his tour in 2018 and will take pride of place in the award-winning Number One Riverside, Smith Street, Rochdale from February 2020 to June 2020. (Rochdale On Line)
Hi Flickr, how are you? I missed you. Hugs hugs, kiss kiss.<3 I've been MIA for the longest time, been busy busting my ass at work but for the next 2 weeks, I has no werk so I'm gonna be hanging around here again. Well, a lot of things happened in one month. Funny how days just kept on rolling. A list!
1.) I got myself a dslr. :) I have yet to name him, yes, I've already made up my mind that he's a he.
2.) I don't know how to use Photoshop anymore. Heh. It took me a while to get this done.
3.) I'm running out of words to put on my photos.
4.) Everything looks different here at Flickr. Damnit, I'vve been gone this looonnng?
5.) A motherfucker of a typhoon hit my country last week, it hasn't rained that hard in the Philippines since 1967. Photos and pictures and stories around Twitter and Tumblr broke my heart but what's extraordinary about what happened is it didn't destroy my country, it made it stronger. Everybody's been helping out and never have I been this proud to be a Filipino. Please, if you can, help my country heal. For those who would want to extend their help, please visit Philippine Aid.
