My darling little niece's came to visit over the holidays. One of them celebrated their 9th birthday, so it was extra special.
My husband is taking the day off of work tomorrow and we are heading to the nearest shopping mall (4hrs away) to do our Christmas shopping. We our doing all our Christmas shopping for four boys in one day, call us CRAZY Chorney's..........
Tourists busily move about the giant Diplodocus skeleton called 'Dippy' at the Natural History Museum London. Sadly Dippy will be replaced in the Great Hall by a Blue Whale skeleton from the Summer of 2017.
I was at the NHM for my yearly pilgrimage to the the Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition exhibition. There are some amazing and inspirational photos to look at and soak in.

Soooo. I found this girl who takes the same pictures with the same subject, same angle, same words and same song lyrics as mine. Hmm. I don't want to use the word copy but I will go ahead because I can't find any other fitting word right now; I can't say it's inspired or coincidental because it happened way too many times. I don't know how I should feel about this though because really, It's amazing that photography is helping us channel and express what we feel; that we can document the places and things and people and what they mean to us at that particular moment and even ourselves as to how and what we are but hmm, yeah, I just wish she'd find her own rhythm and look at the world through her eyes instead; she'll be surprised about the other things she can toy her imagination with; not just some schtupid lamppost or beat up Chucks. =)
A friend once said that she might have copied the words, or in this case the pictures but she doesn't own the emotions. That is what she's missing out on this. The feel. And you guys know what I mean, yes?
I don't want to be controlled by whatever I'm feeling right now so I won't link her; but maybe I will if she continues and eventually denies it, you know, for a little comparison and contrast. Ahhhhhhh, fuckyeahidk. I'm too old for things like this. Meh.

I have been so drawn to the color YELLOW lately... My bedroom needs a make over and I am going to use these picture's as my inspiration. I invision mostly whites with kisses of yellow here and there.

Hey all - got to see Lis and the boys today - so we wanted to get caught up with our dippy project which we missed this past Sun due to my hospital visit. Because of that, and since it is National Heart Month we decided to make our theme -- "Take Good Care of Your Heart"!!
I received this beautiful shell heart from my dear flickr friend Machel Spence and just absolutely love it and couldn't wait to shoot it. Too bad I couldn't just shoot pics every day - that would bring the stress level way down!!! Feeling much better - thanks everyone for your well wishes!!!!

It's the 4th month of the year and I still feel that I haven't accomplished anything yet... I feel stagnant. Worse, I feel like I am declining. This should be the best times of my life right?

I am heading out of town today to go visit my sister who lives in Lynchburg Va for a few weeks. I hope to do some fun photo sessions while I am there. Cannot wait for the change of scenery...I will miss my daily routine of coming on flickr, ha ha! See you all in a few weeks!
