This building, in my childhood, used to be the Co-op (or I think it was Co-op) they had a cool conveyor belt to put your groceries outside for pickup. It closed down and our library moved from the old two story building to this location...then eventually the library and art gallery moved, the building was vacant until Convergys came...they are now gone, the building is somewhat abandoned, I sure hope they find a use for this building.
Here's Dimples in one of his common hangouts - on the back of my office chair! You can see where he's clawed the chair; he has left his marks all over the chair, but what the heck.
This is supposed to be a photo of Luke wearing an interrobang tshirt.. but that chin-dimple is just too distracting :)
The dimpled sand formation shown here at Point Lobos State Reserve on the Pacific Coast in Northern California has, over the years, hardened into rock. The dimpled pattern was probably caused by the action of the waves and surf against the wall.

Leaves on a trigeneric cross containing Manfreda, Polianthes and Agave. These seedlings have not flowered yet. An inflorescence has initiated on this plant in April 2010.
During the first 8 days of March, I photographed Dimpled Trout Lily (Erythronium umbilicatum) at sites in three different states (GA, SC, NC). I saw this one along the Rottenwood Creek Trail in the Palisades Unit of the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area, in Cobb County, Georgia.
We didn't go in, and the reviews online are pretty brutal, but the sign is pretty.

A truck & trailer hit my parked car Thursday as the driver tried to turn out of a parking stall. No one was hurt (I wasn't even inside) and the damage wasn't too bad: A broken taillight, dented bumper, scratched and buckled side panel. The cost (covered by his insurance, thankfully) is nothing to laugh about though.
Earlier in the day, someone was ribbing a coworker with a new car that his shiny vehicle was just asking to be dented. "Those bumpers just pop back into shape." Two hours later I was able to report "no, they don't."
Carmichael, Ca
. . .
He was seen at the 55th Carmichael 4th of July parade. It was a super hot day today with record-tying 110! Got there late so missed half of the parade. I wilted right up in the hot sun. It was nothing a cold beer couldn't fix. Don't get old, though.
The parade was a sea of Red White and Blue. Happy 4th !
