▶ "James Henry Cotton (July 1, 1935 – March 16, 2017) was an American blues harmonica player, singer and songwriter, who performed and recorded with many fellow blues artists and with his own band. He also played drums early in his career.

Cotton began his professional career playing the blues harp in Howlin' Wolf's band in the early 1950s. He made his first recordings in Memphis for Sun Records, under the direction of Sam Phillips. In 1955, he was recruited by Muddy Waters to come to Chicago and join his band. Cotton became Muddy's bandleader and stayed with the group until 1965. In 1965, he formed the Jimmy Cotton Blues Quartet, with Otis Spann on piano, to record between gigs with the Muddy Waters band. He eventually left to form his own full-time touring group.

***************

â–¶ Before he ever achieved wider white-folk-fame with the Blues Brothers, Matt "Guitar" Murphy had played with Howlin' Wolf, Muddy Waters, Sonny Boy Williamson, Memphis Slim, James Cotton, and Chuck Berry, among others.

In 1974, he performed on James Cotton's album, "100% Cotton." With Mr. Cotton on blues harp (and vocals) and Mr. Murphy on axe, the record was/is textbook, funky, rock 'n' roll and Chicago-blues. The cuts "Rockett 88" and "Boogie Thing" burn white-hot. (Blues Brothers fans will recognize "I Don't Know," sung by Mr. Cotton.) Out of print, but downloads are available.

This art really caught my eye as I was driving to the center of Santa Rosa, California.

Here is a video link video link and a link to Ned Kahn Studio

There are 11 rows, thus, 11 * 6 * 15 * 15 = 14850 mirrors

Each row consists of 6 panels = 1350 mirrors

Each panel has 15 x 15 = 225 mirrors

It is a large work on the side of the AT&T building. It consists of " 3 inch by 3-inch aluminum leaves that are hinged so they move feely in the wind."
