Selfies. Not using a mobile, though. Experiments. Part drawing, part painting with a dash of photography thrown in. I used Studio Artist for digital drawing and painting plus Batchphoto for overlays and then a video editor. Not sure how successful they are but they... are... what they are.

Last night I published an image of my X on grid pattern, digitally revised and posterized using Painter 12. While I was in Painter, I used the "capture pattern" control to make a repeated pattern with the image. Then I used the paint bucket tool to fill a new image with it. I kind of like the look of it, and may use it for something on Zazzle.
Composite of drawings made with the amazingly cool web-based drawing app "Scribbler Too" made by Mario Klingermann which was based off of the original "Scribbler" by Ze Frank.
Background blurred and texture added with GIMP.

06/20:
You Should Put Your Heart In the Place of Your Head
As vezes, só as vezes...
Quando os momentos apertam o coração pela apatia e desapego
As vezes...
As vezes.... Mas só as vezes...
Colocar o seu coração no lugar da cabeça lhe permitiria se entender melhor...
Permitiria você me compreender... Melhor...
Sometimes, only sometimes ...
When moments tighten the heart by apathy and detachment
Sometimes ... I would like, not much, not little ...
But only that your words came from your sincere ...
Feelings...
Sometimes, only sometimes ...
I wish your words were measured before they were thrown...
In the torrents of bitter winds, which fill these delicate
Fragile lungs with bitterness ...
Sometimes, only sometimes ...
Euphemism can be an angel of soft wings in sensitive moments
Where is needed more feelings and less reason...
Sometimes .... But only sometimes ...
Putting your heart in the place of the head would allow you to understand yourself better ...
Would let you understand ... Me...Better ...
This guy resides at the Jacksonville Zoo - he is also drawn and for more info on this, check out my blog at sydspix.wordpress.com/2022/04/12/a-little-aaron-blaise-di...
Yesterday I used the Brushes app on my iPad to draw a picture of a pineapple, and posted it here. I thought it was finished, but I guess it wasn't. When I saw the image on the computer screen, I decided I wasn't satisfied with the background. And I saw a few other things I wanted to change. Oh well, I could let that go. But then I had the idea of adding more pattern, and that sounded like fun. So I got the iPad out, and started making changes. I added pink polka dot texture to the wall in the background, and purple stripes to the table top. I also added more definition to the leaves, and added more color to the pineapple. I am happier with it now (though the background still looks different on the computer screen than on my iPad.) Brushes captures a stroke-by-stroke video, so tomorrow I plan to post a little animation of this pineapple coming into existence.

This is actually my first ever DTIYS! I had my boy Urzu'izriden borrow Fen's clothes because this is exactly the kind of outfit he'd wear.
Sygnin (Sunginx on Insta, Syngin on Twitter) makes awesome art but is also just very nice (and tags me in art shares). Congrats on the 5K, and may you get many more!
