I didn't have an awful lot of time to work on this one, and it isn't exactly what I'd originally planned, but I hope the void can still find something to like about it.

Selfies. Not using a mobile, though. Experiments. Part drawing, part painting with a dash of photography thrown in. I used Studio Artist for digital drawing and painting plus Batchphoto for overlays and then a video editor. Not sure how successful they are but they... are... what they are.

+ this is my interpretation on how she may look like in human form before joining the army... :), so around early teenage years methinks
+ I will be refining the black and white version then I will start colouring it
+ yes, my main goal is to make her look tangible but can take time

- incremental updates (31 Aug): trimmed shirt sleeve (near the elbow), adjusted shadows, tones and texture, adjusted some parts on the face and etc...
- update (11 Nov) : almost forgot this project :) : adjusted left eye, nose, lips and added a bit of detail on left hand
Last night I published an image of my X on grid pattern, digitally revised and posterized using Painter 12. While I was in Painter, I used the "capture pattern" control to make a repeated pattern with the image. Then I used the paint bucket tool to fill a new image with it. I kind of like the look of it, and may use it for something on Zazzle.
