The Diggers is a name which has come to signify all soldiers in the AIF ( Australian Imperial Forces ) but the name mainly applies to the men and women in the Army as they had to dig their way in for protection when landing on the shores of Gallipoli in the First World War 98 years ago .

Sharonville area of Cincinnati, Ohio. I spotted this digger cleaning out a settlement pool at the water works and was struck by the bright color of the machine in contrast to what appears to be some sort of salt.
'Real' gold diggers travel across the Brokopondo lake into the gold rich inner jungle of Surinam. The little boats are loaded with mining gear and barrels of chemicals to seperate the gold from mother nature, poluting and destroying the rain forrest in the process. I am sad to see them leave.
Another one of our favourite cakes, probably because my son is made about Digger Loaders and so is Andrew, who loved his cake!

Shot from the Skybox (I know watching a monster trucks show from a Skybox is odd)
I like these because they have wheels for the road (with chunky tread), wheels for the rails (inside the first ones, slicker) and, of course, train wheels. Parked at Sunbury station.
The last remains of the old services building, nestled into the hill and being destroyed by a digger to make room for the new FIMS building.
