Wigan Diggers' Festival
Quote: ... Also known as the ‘True Levellers’, the Diggers were one of the first truly egalitarian political movements of the poor and those without property anywhere in the World, and the first to argue for full equality of men and women. Winstanley and they famously asserted: “The World was made a common treasury for all!”...
This rusty Poclain Digger has been in this position in the scrapyard for about 5 years now. I'm told it still runs.

The samyang has some focus issues so I tend to leave it on f8-f11 and focus to 1ft and just leave it.
These guys are working on a beach near me, definitely going back here at night!
One of the Highlights of the Gunshows at Ghost Town in the Sky was Digger the Undertaker. He would mince around stealing money of the corpses and kill people who had only minor injuries in order to make money by burying them. He he is trying to fold up a corpse to fit a small size casket

Today's tale and sketch "by me" we see "Digger Gofish" piloting the Digger Coupe in front of the
Snowy River Resort. Diggers real name is Ibra Gofish, he received his nickname "Digger"
from a platoon of Australian and New Zealand troopers who were out bivouacking, and got trapped in this
very spot during the worst snow storm, in a hundred years. They came upon Ibra's beautiful semi
craftsman cottage, Nearly frozen and starving, they knocked on Ibra's door, and were greeted by Ibra,
the troops all fourteen of them, just one short of a platoon, were aghast seeing this little four
foot grey alien wearing a Santa hat answering the door. But were made more than welcome, as they all came
in from the storm, The house was extremely large once inside. Ibra served the troops a meal of "The Snowies"
Yellow Snow Moon Pies, and hot chocolate gulp drinks. The troops were very curious how a four foot alien could
reach Earth, build a beautiful forty room Inn here in the far reaches of northern Australia. And also
have made the Snow Berry Moon Pie delicacy. They had believed the Yellow Loolie Berries were Poison, and
were told in survival training to not eat them. So while they were all waiting out the storm, Ibra told the
tale of how he had come to Earth looking for new and exotic Moon Pie fillings, he told how while cruising
in low orbit over this area, his Slicko Moon Pie filling meter began a serious buzzing noise, meaning
there was a yummy filling source below. But also indicated as he got closer and closer that they could
be poisonous, if left uncooked. He told them of setting up a campsite, picking some Lollie berries,
and that it was about a thousand years ago. He built the "Snowy River Resort" for Interstellar tourists
who visit earth and want to see how miserable and cold some parts of Earth are. After a few weeks
of hanging with Ibra, they were afraid they would be in trouble and listed as missing forever.
Ibra helped the troops back to civilization, He went on ahead and dug a path through the snow,
Ibra was incredibly quick, Digging with a Gofish Snow plow, within a few days they had reached there command
post, said there good byes. Many of the troops tried and tried to find the Resort again, but could never do so.
But all were thankful of that chance meeting, and visiting with there friend "Digger" that winter of 1910.
Taa ta the Rod Blog.
Live and have fun everyday, because someday you'll understand.
So yeah, after my self-imposed stencilling abstinence of late, I've now got back on the habit and am hitting it hard. This was created during periods of drying for these.

Abandoned Excavator this is on private property but got permissions to do this shot.
Excavator is a heavy construction equipment consisting of a boom, arm, bucket, and cab on a rotating superstructure atop an undercarriage with tracks. These machines are used mainly for digging purposes as well as various lifting and carrying tasks in various applications
Archaeological excavation of medieval peat mounds, just South of the Northern Dutch city of Groningen. Not much to find on this site, but the digger was interesting. It had a long reach - but not long enough to reach my KAP rig.

This is the little digger I made for the Home Improvement dio. It was a fun little build, very inspired by the lego diggers of the mid 90s, with some new pieces thrown in.

Been meaning to have a go at this for ages, following others on Flickr that have cracked this so well.
Finally found a digger right outside my work today - perfect opportunity to give this a go.
Not bad for a first attempt me thinks (bit heavy on the shadow?) :-)
shadow changed - bit better now
Brass Balls Bobbers & Choppers are by designer Dar Holdsworth and master builder Sam Wills. Each bobber is made to the specifications of the rider and comes dressed in a Harley-Davidson(R) EVO, S&S(R) Shovelhead motor, or the unique re-engineered Indian(R) Power Plus engine. Stripped down to the nitty gritty, the Digger expresses its bad boy styling with a solo seat and hard tail mechanicals that places the rider just 24 inches above the tarmac. Bobbed front and rear fenders expose high-performance donuts. Checkout all the Bobbers and Choppers at www.brassballsbobbers.com or call 405.285.0808.
