This didn't really work out like I had hoped, but nonetheless, I still think it looks cool.

Part of the ‘home of the future’

Home Futures

(November 2018 to March 2019)

...a series of dreamlike passages and rooms designed by New York-based architects SO-IL and explore yesterday’s visions of the future – as avant-garde speculations are displayed alongside contemporary objects and new commissions.

...more than 200 objects and experiences to trace the key social and technological aspirations that have driven change in the home. Historical notions of the mechanised home and the compact home are displayed alongside contemporary phenomena such as connected devices and the sharing economy.

Flashlight coupled with the diffuser at two different power modes. It really glows!

All this comes in our room diffuser kits.

Nature's golden 'lightbox"

Missed another day :*( I didn't even think about taking a picture...

This was after we got home from the last Shakespeare play of the year :) It was late, so I was struggling with lighting, but I felt like the flash was harsh...so I threw on the diffuser. I think it turned out ok :)

The lighting is barely making its way through the clouds. It casts a glow on St. Peter's that I just think is magnificent.

A diffuser in my room (inspiration was really gone those lasts days of my project!).

Diffuser abstract.

out of focus,confusion,coming closer.

This photo uses diffuse lighting because there is less contrast between light and dark. Although a light source is present, it is hard to tell where it is coming from because no shadows are present.

Press "L" to view on black - looks much better!

Blown out highlight on the eye and body :( Also the second highlight in the eye is from direct sunlight, probably best to shoot in the shade. The other highlights may well be from sunlight and not the flash too.

Tests with an ND4 filter on a Voigtlander 25mm lens as wide as it can go, some shots are with a legacy pivotable strobe (sunpak auto-25sr) and the others are using sunshine.

The ND4 filter darkens the light coming into the lens allowing a lot more bokeh than would normally be possible at these bright levels of light.
