Have turned one of my windows into a light panel using Rosco tough rolux 3000 to give a soft light. it's stuck to the window frames with Velco, it's configurable to black, diffuse or normal light on each 1/2 and total block once the curtains are fitted.
The Dollar General Diffuser consists of 1 frosted plastic glass with a automotive "blind spot mirror" glued in the bottom. The mirror is canted about 15 degrees which makes the diffuser somewhat directional. The assembly is mounted on the flash using a "beer cozy" with the bottom trimmed out. Cost of materials around $2.75. Production time about 5 minutes (allowing time to finish the beer that was in the cozy).
Further testing and modification is encouraged.
